Hello everyone, been a long time lurker on these boards, I just joined recently and this is my first time ever posting. After seeing some amazing repaints and being inspired by several customs, I decided to try my hand at it, so without further ado this is my repaint of the 1 step Optimus prime. Please let me know what you think!

This is excellent, and makes me do a double take because it looks way more complex than a 1-step changer because it looks so nice.

    Great job.

    Now, do more!

    good job!

it is easy to overlook the little details that the designers put on these one step figures until you see someone highlight it with some much needed paint.

Thank you, this was my first time working on such small details with a brush! I'm planning to do Grimlock next!

I know! It's unfortunate how many people over look these guys because of their simplicity but in reality they're little miniature works of art!

I've just done one step Grimlock, it's fiddly but makes me enjoy the figures molding.
Great work on optimus here, really improves the figure.

Update* so after seeing more screen shots I noticed Prime has some flames on his arm guard so decided to bring Optimus up to speed.

Nice work! if the retail released looked half as good as this I would probably pick one up, but since it doesn't even look 1/10th as good as this, newp.

Brilliant work especially on a small fig.
