^ Do you recognize this "weirdo" toy (which i owned one of as a child)? The line was .... bizarre ;)

Yeah...i recall the figures being @3'' tall (maybe a touch shorter).

I miss the oddball toys like this from the 80's.

Huh. I recall them being 3" or smaller and a seller stated they were 3 inches as well. I'll have to confirm later and add the image to my archive.

Either way I found the figure and motorcycle bizarre even as a child but I have a soft spot for them :D

I could be wrong, I remember one actually had a KO He-Man head, but beyond that...

I believe the listings stated a 4" height for the whole toy, figure on the vehicle... I figured, the knees were permanently bent and the figure hunched, so full height if it were able to stand properly would be close to the same or just a smidge less?

Again, if you actually played with it, you know better than my memory of just seeing them around and the sale listing info o the web could be wrong.

The current Polly's are a little taller with big heads but about the same width so I guess Dianauts should fit in those vehicles without any trouble but may look a tiny bit short.

No that this has much to do with 1/60 figures :D  but i think we're both "right".

This line was a "bootleg extravaganza" in its hey day and i see figures i've never seen before after a bit of digging. They are all 7cm thus far but i wouldn't be shocked to come across a 4 inch version at this rate. This is one of those weird lines that likely won't come up in conversations in the near future unless it's by people who were actually children when these were produced. I'd like to archive what i can before the images are gone.

I mean.... look at these. They look like He-Man if he went to a rave at a Michaels arts and crafts store. I have no idea where these were sold at but i never saw them back in the day.

I'm not convinced despite the images below. Can someone confirm?

...c'mon...how are you gonna make a comment like that and NOT expect "that gif". You know the one...

My 5-pack hasn't shipped from Pulse, and my ER version is still in 4 million year sleep from the move, but IIRC, he's seated where the head goes. It works in bit form, but I'm not sure it will work in vehicle form unless the head is removed.

just ordered a couple of 30Minute Missions exa vehicle "multiple legs" sets; not just to kinda bulk out my Waruder troops, but to also act as extra parts for combinations..

I'm also looking at what WH40K kits kinda match the Waruder aesthetic, and the Votann vehicles look kinda like they would make good bases for armoured bugs..

Ah, Silverlit and their original toylines using KO'ed parts from popular toy lines. Their Multimac toys ought to be close to 1/60, seeing they ripped off various TOMY lines including Zoids (1/72) for the base parts.

I can't wait to get my hands on one and give it some Vajra type highlights. It really is what i'd expect from Waruder ground troops / entry level war machines more than what i've seen of the official Waruders up to this point. It's just a beautiful looking toy.

Regarding the Votann vehicles ... i haven't kept a close eye on the WH40K universe as of late so i hadn't come across the Sagitaur or Hekaton Land Fortress. WOW. Both would definitely fit in well with our little 1/60 figure universes. The Sagitaur is personally my type of model as i really like off road vehicles. The Land Fortress looks like a perfect fringe colony vehicle. It has a very unique look.

I have to say..... i find myself really impressed with modular and/ or model kits these days. As someone that wants to interact with what i buy and customize.. being able to do that at the beginning of the build rather than tearing something apart first to rebuild it the way i visualize is a breath of fresh air.

Custom. It's practically a Waruder ground vehicle.

Looking at these, you can see how bug-like they already look; just swap out the wheels for some legs and you have instant Waruder troops!! Now there's an Idea..

The newly-leaked transforming Hotwheels Optimus is 1:64 scale, so it sort-of fits

This makes me consider just how entrenched Takara is with regard to their quasi insect / creature Waruder theme. Would they make a Waruder vehicle with wheels?

They could make a vehicle that uses Waruder suits as wheels and other components, similar to the Monster Minds in Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors being basically plants.

Wait, there is a transforming version coming, too? The non-transforming one was officially shown a couple of weeks ago.

For that price, you might as well just buy the Missing Link Convoy.
