Where was the listing for that new Forging soul, if you don't mind?
Personally I love all of the Toyscomic stuff, even more so than a lot of Tomy's offerings.

I'm really wondering if that Hot Wheels Optimus Prime is going to be 1:60-1:64 or if much smaller like a lot of the other semi diecast... I would really want some, if closer to 1:60 or so. I would then try to get someone to make Diaclone logos for the sides...

Apparently a 52toys Beast Drive Gorilla unit is under development. I believe a picture was posted that showed an earlier prototype previously but this one is further along.

Assuming for a moment the seating area for 1/60 figures is in the cab.....

The thumbnail image is different but the actual listing shows this image and the images Boknight posted.

Welp - after months of window shopping, you finally motivated me to fill my Booth KUMA cart. Luckily, only 2 bits that I had been stalking were out of stock, but I managed to pick up 17 other items in various quantities.

Thanks for being a "beta tester" for the Load Chamber hubcaps. I ordered a dozen sets for my future planned LC inventory.

    They are indeed brilliant
Ended up with ten sheets, which should cover 20 LC

Ha! Great minds think alike! Same.

I had been stalking the various computer consoles, the ladder inserts for the Pod Grander walkways, lifts and gantries for various hangar settings, and the signal light inserts for Ground Dion's runways.

Overall 60 total pieces among 17 designs. I was aghast at how economical it was!

I should also say my Buyee experience was very good with Booth. After signing up for Buyee, you can simply “add to cart” as if buying directly from the store. Combining shipping for multiple orders was straightforward and fast

the only quibble is that Google Translate does not work with Buyee

Really? How strange - I'm using the function in Chrome on my Pixel 7 and I haven't yet encountered a Japanese text page that hasn't worked. I can even use Google Lens from the same device on images.

i was a bit surprised all the consoles had female ports. All the spots you’d want to use them in Diaclone would also have female ports

My one aesthetic quibble with Diaclone is the visible screws so I very much need those hubcap covers!!

I've seen the Kuma Factory site but how does buying from it in the west work?

Sign up for Buyee.jp, which is a very large scale middleman service for a variety of Japanese marketplaces, such as Yahoo and rakuten. They have a specific partnership with Booth, which is a 3D goods site sort of like Shapeways or Cults3D

when you go to Booth, you’ll see a Buyee specific “Add to cart” button on the product pages. Buy what you’d like. Completed orders get shipped to Buyee’s warehouse and forwarded to you.

you have to pay a small service fee, plus shipping from Booth to Buyee (Japan domestic), then Buyee to you (International)

I placed three orders from Kima, since he kept uploading more stuff. Buyee’s service fee was about $5 each. Then I combined all shipping costs, which totaled $37 USD (that includes both Japan domestic and international shipping. Would have saved a few bucks if I did 1 order instead of 3.

that was for 27 items (10 wheel sets, 6 adapters, 2 cockpits, 9 monitors) to my door from Japan

fairly reasonable for special order international goods, imo.

EDIT: forgot to mention that was expedited shipping. Went from Japan on 4/30 to my house on 5/2 thru DHL. There was a cheaper slower shipping option

Booth itself was pretty fast. Only took 3-4 days to make and ship the stuff. My first experience, and they’re faster than shapeways

That may have been an issue with the malfunctioning translate feature. At least 2 of the consoles listed had a "convex/concave" option meaning with a plug or with a port. (Respectively.) Because of that same concern, I picked up convex types.

I also have a small cache of adapters from the glut of Gyroceptor/CrossCepter and DartLoader sets that I've picked up, so I can add a plug and plug it in as and where needed. I'll add pics when they show up.

Approximately how long from order to arrival was the whole process for you?

Damn, I knew that translation was gonna bite me

anyways, Buyee helpfully lets you track the timeline so I could find these:

    Order 1 - placed Apr 18; completed/shipped Apr 19; received by Buyee Apr 23
Order 2 - placed Apr 23; competed Apr 23; shipped Apr 25; received Apr 27
Order 3 - placed Apr 24; completed Apr 24; shipped Apr 25; received Apr 26

Oh wow - so almost Mandarake/DHL levels of speed. Granted, I made a 60 piece order so I expect it may take a little longer, but definitely seems faster than AliExpress/ShowZ travel times.

I love the adaptation of the carrier vehicle for Diaclone/1:60 uses. I've been seeing it again and again around the web and I think I'll seek out a pair.

The legged Mecha (to me) feels like it would be a better fit among the Waruderm

Carriers / transport vehicles came up in the main thread recently and reminded me of this unit that i've seen recently. I didn't pay much attention to it at first because i thought we had already posted about it here. After closer inspection though this is something new (to me).

    Context for this pic
So it needs modding, but if you've done it for the previous ASC you can transplant it over.
