so I’ve been wanting an A-Team van for the longest time and saw that Greenlight had a 1/24.

So I pulled the trigger from Amazon.

It arrived today- in all its WTH glory.

Instead of a red stripe and red wheels, it was green! Not only does it not fit the item description, but it doesn’t match the picture.

Why would they even make a green version?

So I guess I get to learn about returns with Amazon...

WTF? Do you have Meijer stores in your area? I believe they carry a line of 1/24 diecast TV/movie inspired vehicles...in screen-accurate colors.

This is a joke right, for April first?

What you have is a chase piece. Pretty sure that's the whole gimmick of GreenLight chase pieces.

I would kill all of you for an official Lego a-team van. And Airwolf.

Greenlight has 2 different versions of the A-team van

One regular version with red stripes and caps

One they call a chase version with the green like the version you have

Greenlight puts out chase variants with green paint accents, tires, etc. It's completely intentional, and probably kinda rare. I'm not sure what the count is on their variants, but they call them Green Machines.

Maybe check ebay and see what it goes for. Its not like you are scalping it since you didn't want to get this variant and will return it.

Prices are all over the place. Doesn’t look like it goes for much more then the regular version.

Are there any forums out there for this kind of thing?
It’s not that I’m into die cast per se, I’m justbtrying to wrap up my movie / tv cars ‘collection’.

You could've probably just done a quick scan of their website. As for looking for diecast forums, let google do your searching.

Yeah those prices in the hundreds of dollars for it are crazy but some places on amazon, ebay, and hobby shops sell it for a slightly high but much more reasonable price of about $40.

I bought one a few years ago at that price and its pretty nice and detailed.

It has 2 full set of copter bodies which is perfect incase you try painting one and mess it up you can just paint the other.

The 2 bodies come with one molded in black one molded in clear with the intent on incase you wanted to show off the detailed cockpit and backseat station you have that choice.

Even though it has 2 sets of bodies you only have parts to build one copter leaving a spare body laying around, though a rotor system and a similar windshield from another copter or something scratch built could get two copters from one kit
