I have the black gun version.

In fact, all of the ones that I've seen in the stores have been the black gun version.

 

Is the picture of the toy look counter fit??? or does he look the real deal????

sometime while mid production, the color of the gun was changed black, so it was more common than the grey version. Obviously, this varied from city to city, but it suposed to be more black than grey´s

 

there is a 20th Prime KO out there, but looks nothing like the origional. It's not even close. that one pictured is the real thing.

 

the only KO that i know of, its a downsized version, about the size of an Alternator

 

Takara's release was first. It had the grey gun. When 20th Op hit the states, he had the grey gun as well. Hasbro had heard the fans complaining about the grey gun with Takara's release and set out to make it black instead. It wasn't until the second wave of Primes that the change took effect. Therefore, the black gun is way more common. In fact, grey gun Primes will sell for about $25-$50 more on ebay if they are sealed.
I got a grey gun Prime when they first hit. I didn't like the fact his gun was grey ( especially since my Takara Prime had one ), so I took it back and traded it for a black gun one. If only I'd have known....

 

I figured that one day the Grey Gun version would be worth more, but I went for what I wanted..... the BLACK GUN. Call me stupid but happy.

Well to me the black gun only adds to the word "masterpiece". As Prime should have a black gun. Besides, I will never sell Prime off.

 

That's fine... I have a grey gun too. It came with MPC. IN YOUR FACE !!  

 

I'm kinda interested in seeing what that looks like.

Woah who are those consrtuction bots with the block heads...They look like heavily remolded G1 Hooks....

So the grey one was more rare? Cool, I've got the grey one. It's opened, but still, at least I've got me a rare (or comparably rare) TF 

 

The look of them seems a little like Mixmaster to me. The arms and legs seem to go the same. The heads are new to me, though.
