It's just not for me. I don't like the plethora of jet engines he has. That's just overkill. And every G1 detail they cramped in there just pulls the figure down, because I find G1 Skyquake to be a very ugly design

Luckily, I don't care enough about this character, so I simply won't buy it

I'm even still on the fence about Prowl, because that bike is such an eyesore. I'm surprised how bad it turned out. The robot mode is a solid 10/10 for me though

Skyquake is impressive. Very disappointed in Metalhawk.

Is anyone getting into these Core Class dinobots?
Honestly they’re cool in a fun looking way, but…
Seeing as how they’ve told us DinoKing is a sure thing, I’m content to wait for that.

Have they said how they’d release DinoKing?
Like a box set or something?

I’m down for most of these releases revealed today, but find myself excited to see a new Beachcomber of all things. :D

They have not said anything about Dinoking specifically, just that the Dinobots are a pre-release for something

I'm also waiting for Dinoking. I don't generally collect core class unless they're meant to go with the larger figures.

I decided to go ahead and get slug and sludge to see what I'll think about completing Volcanicus. I think it'll be a fun little combiner, but I really want/hope they do Dinoking. I also figured I could try the Volcanicus little dudes to get an idea for the eventual Dinoking. If they do release him I hope it's as a box set, but I don't think they've confirmed anything about it yet.

Also I really liked what I saw yesterday, even if we already knew about a lot of it. Got my preorders in so I'm happy for now lol. Really like that they're doing pipeline reveals now too like the other brands.

I've been getting the cores and I'm definitely in for the Dinobots. It’s not so much the Combiner appeal as it is just having deskbot a-listers for handy fiddling.

Yeah, that's where I'm at too. I can pass on Volcanicus but I'm hyped about Dinoking.

Menasor has spoiled me. I preordered nothing because none of it was as exciting to me as a proper combiner. But I know that's a personal thing - I just like combiners. I don't feel the need for insecticons, but I would get shrapnel if I did. Also - I realized a couple of years ago that that I'm not into retools and repaints - so anything that fits that idea is an instant pass for me.

    I am I am!

I kinda like their appearance, and they looks fun as fiddling toys, and I especially love fiddling combiner because it usually has triple mode (robot-alt-combined) :D

Ok, now I need Mammoth Prime as mainline release, buuuuuuut no only that. Imagine the posibilities of a repaint.

Personally, I like more Ultra Mammoth as the first repaint they should go. In my headcanon, Ultra Mammoth is the counterpart of Ultra Magnus in the main history of 1996 :D .

Well…. I’ve been tempted to get the Core-Dinobots, but now I’m actually leaning toward its.
    Thanks guys!

    IMO, they're fun.

    Compromised mode? Absolutely.

But also feels fun to fiddle around.

[Edit because apparently it's good enough for people to think it's real]

Made a digibash for the fun of it because an instant comparison came to mind after seeing the official images

It's a really impressive Digibash, it kinda shows me that even with a cohesive paint scheme the jet mode looks odd

This. They aren’t gonna start randomly adding in minicons now.

I do worry for some of my fellow board members though… Their inability to distinguish between real and fake is troublesome
