Metalhawk. Robot mode is fantastic! but man they should have retooled it differently (or a different figure entirely) because that jet mode is hard to look at. hopefully mistransformed in some way? Twincast, dont care. i really wish all the cassette characters were being released individually though. hopefully the new core class Rumble is the start of that trend. Skyquake, ill get him if i can find him in person or on sale, otherwise he isnt a priority. Prowl, GIMI!! Crashbar, ill take 3 thanks! Shrapnel, ill take 3 thanks! (wish it was a bit more incest like though instead of G1 toy accuracy. feels more like a vehicle than a bug) the rest i couldn't care less about.
I get that since that's more accurate to the cartoon but I've seen some comic art and stuff with the black there. I personally prefer that since it breaks the purple up a little but I do understand your point.
so far every thing is an instant buy except crosscut... i would have rather had black hands if it meant the tires where black would have been easier to paint the hands then it is to paint pinned wheels

I keep seeing conflicted answers, so what's the deal with Armada Prime? He's on the box and has been specifically placed there, according to concept art for the poster, but in this recent stream he was covered up by the Legacy Evolution logo. Many have said that since he's on the box that's handed out to retailers, he would have to be in the line, especially since many expect him to be Evolution's Commander class figure, but is it possible that this is similar to Kingdom's poster with Polar Claw and Gears being canceled later than the art was made, or Earthrise's box with Galvatron when he wouldn't show up for another line? Or is it simply that they didn't have anywhere else to put the logo and didn't plan on showing off Optimus today, so they just covered him up out of necessity and convenience? Likewise, beyond the box art, do we have any other confirmation that Armada Optimus is indeed happening, and do we even have any confirmation that he will be a Commander? I don't recall seeing any listings for him, but I very well could be misremembering.
He's being kept secret because he's one of two big ticket items this year. He's an easter egg on the art and they're trying to avoid talking about it until his debut. He exists and is real He has his own EAN code and listing.
I hope by \"Classic Optimus\" they don\'t mean G1. Cause that Volvo mold was just screaming for a Hero Optimus repaint, and it\'d be a horrible waste to cheat it outta that.
I must say, seeing Shrapnel makes me sad that I didn't get Kickback. I have Ransack though, so I my pick up Shrapnel. As for the repaints, I don't enjoy any of them enough to get them a second time, with the exception of Thundercracker. I'll definitely be picking up Prowl and Skyquake when I'm able. As for the pipeline, I dont really care. Devcon is a boring design, Beachcomber is useless, and the rest I can live without. Armada Megatron could be pretty cool though.
Chefatron is one of the worst reviewers out there, I refuse to trust a single thing he says. Plus, Skyquake’s box shows the combination!
Managed to order everything from Pulse, but also backed-up ordered everything but Grimlock on Amazon (which is weird how Grimlock is currently unavailable...odd). Loving this new wave over-all, and remembered that we\'d already seen most of it previously due to leaks, like Crashbar and Prowl. Shrapnel looks great and now we have to wait, probably another year+, for Bombshell. I guess with Shrapnel coming, we can expect a Chop Shop recolor/remold at some point? Target exclusive? Generations Selects? That Metalhawk jet mode couldn\'t be prettier, IMO, and I\'m pretty pleased with how it turned out. I am still a bit miffed that the Decepticon Pretenders are all over the scale. I wonder if we\'ll ever get the other Autobot Pretenders (at least the main three) in the future. And what are the odds that Skyquake and Needlenose become the Late G1/G2 Predator Jets? Of course, this will require all five to be made, but I can wait. If you think Minerva and Metalhawk are obscure, wait until we get some Operation Combination characters! -Marc.
My thoughts summarized: Grimlock looks rough, Nemesis looks badass, Thundercracker is always cool, Crashbar is cool, but I\'m not sure I\'m going in on the Junkions, Shrapnel is a definite yes, Crosscut is a must-have as well, Prowl is cool, but I\'m not sure, Metalhawk is a definite grab as an IDW fan, Twincast I\'m also picking up, especially for Rewind, because finally I can reunite him with Chromedome, And Skyquake, well, I\'m already all-in on the G1-ification of Prime characters, so what\'s one more? All and all, this was a good stream. But no Ramjet? Well at least we\'re getting Dirge in Wave 3.
Metalhawk and Shrapnel are pre-ordered. I'm insanely pleased with Lio Convoy, so Black Lio Convoy is a must. I don't care if it's the animation/toy version with a gray lion with a black mane or the more recent MP version of a black lion with a gray mane. The core class Dinobots continue to look terrible.
