Movie stuff looks fine but I have no interest. Core Grimlock - Robot mode fine. Dino-Mode Terrible. Leg mode not even any good even after ruining dino-mode. Core TC and NP - Could not care less. Shrapnel - Looks Great. Will Buy. But I'm more excited about the idea of a Chop Shop remold. Crosscut - Looks fine but I'll probably pass. Just can't buy everything at current prices and he's not a character Fiction has endeared to me. Crashbar - Looks great. The gimmick is selling these New Junkions to me. Wish there was fiction or even developed line concept to back it up though. Mark keeps referring to them as "Junkion Cadettes" and even those two tiny words give a hint of a story to them that immediately makes me care more. Animated Prowl - A fun reinvention. I'm probably in. Metalhawk - Looks Wonderful. I Love the Autobot Pretender shells so I'm in favor of working in details from them but I can't deny how good this looks. I'll probably buy it. Twincast - I'd like eject but at current prices this may be a pass. Skyquake - Looks great but I'm not a huge Prime guy. I'll likely wait and see if we get it in UKG1 / MW Starscream colors. Beachcomber - I'm sure he'll look great but there's other mini bots (or gasp Throttlebots/Sparkabots) I'd like more. Still probably bite. Devcon - Sold. Though I'll be surprised if the altmode is coherent. Axel grease - Yes please. More. Dirge - got him the first time. Nemesis Lio - Eh. Armada Megs - That original toy was SOOO good. Other than lacking working leg joints it's one of the best TF molds of all time. I have no doubt that it'll fix that flaw, but will the rest be even close to as good? -ZacWilliam, Hope the Holiday Prime repaint is Combat Hero.
These dinobots look absolutely terrible, but in a way, I kind of prefer that to a world where they're just sort of meh looking. At least they're interesting, I'm all in on Dinoking baby.
I just can't get into the Junkions. After the Modulators and Fossilizers, I'm a bit burned out on the gimmick. I may get the motorcycle, but that's just to go with WrekGar and Junkheap.
Nice if unsurprising reveals. At least they are trying to stay ahead of the pirates, but I'd prefer early digital toy renders than old animation images. Core Nemesis and Thundercracker are going in the cart along with Prowl, Shrapnel, and Crashbar. Crashbar is the win of the day for me. As for the rest, they look good but I am trying to cut back. Metalhawk, Twincast, and Skyquake might be discount pickups.
Oh hes a friend. Like the rest of the dinobots so far he's a little weird looking but dang if he isn't funny.

I get the feeling as these are a pretool of dinokong, they had to shoehorn the g1 look in for the Dinobots. Makes me wonder if the robot modes will be different / transform differntly when they get retooled. I might be wrong but the glances of grimlock as a leg looked a lot like dinoking / monstructors.
Hmm, Prowl is the only one I'm buying for sure. Might get Shrapnel but I'm only planning to get one Insecticon so I'd rather wait and see how Bombshell turns out too so I can get whichever I like better. Metalhawk's jet mode is kinda disappointing, not bad but I wish the nosecone could've been a little bigger and more proportionate and I really wish he had a clear cockpit, it's concerning how more and more non-Core jetbots are getting opaque painted ones. Skyquake I'd definitely buy if we knew for sure that he and Dreadwing would be the only uses we'd be getting out of the mold, but I'll hold out in hopes of either a G1/2 or Machine Wars Starscream repaint. I liked how they teased later reveals though, I hope they continue that tradition. Hopefully Hound and Hatchet and maybe even Velocitron Hot Rod will be coming in March since they teased some exclusives then.
Core Grimlock is the left leg, just like Goryu! If Swoop & Snarl are the right arm & leg respectivly and we get an Ankylosaur (Scowl?) as the left arm; Dinoking is all but inevitable.
I was glad to see them talk about the difficulty getting Dirge. I find it great to see another exclusive released in the main line.
Let's be honest and say that G2 Dreadwing is not at the same level as those two. They were major characters in their comics and fan favorites too. G2 Dreadwing was just kind of there.
Very happy with just about all these reveals and the teasers of what’s to come. Less interested in movie stuff, but they’re well done and looking forward to the Dinoking redo of the Dinobots. The new Junkion in particular looks excellent. About my only question mark is Beachcomber, simply because the TR version is already very good.
Insane that they’re not both chromed. Luckily, I know a guy named Molotow…. (Not the famous cocktail bartender!)
