What WfC/FoC figure would you like to see next from Planet X?

Votes from the two semi-final rounds of 20 potential WfC/FoC figures have been tallied. Votes were collected in 2 separate polls of 10 figures each. Voters were allowed to vote for up to 4 figures in each poll. Each poll was open for approximately one week and there was excellent participation from 172 unique voters!

The remaining figures that did not make the final still received much attention--at least 23 votes for every figure of the semi-final 20! So, there is clearly high interest in all of the potential figures. However, only 10 can move on. Here are those that just missed the cut:

Shockwave and Soundwave. Maybe Jetfire, smaller maybe on Zeta Prime and Slipstream.

My reasoning is that there are a lot of no-MP/pseudo-CHUG collectors still out there, and the lack of a good Voyager-sized Soundwave and Shockwave is a big gap in their (OK, our) collections. Shockwave and Soundwave have the most appeal, I think, beyond people who want toys of the game designs.

The same is arguably true of Jetfire, there just doesn't seem to be the same demand.

Zeta Prime and Slipstream are big characters that lack almost any toys, but they seem to be a bit more fringe.

As for the rest, they're popular characters and (aside from Arcee) appeared in the games' stories, but I think they have less appeal outside of fans of the games' designs since they've been done.

 

Ironhide

1. WFC/FOC Ironhide doubles as IDW Ironhide
2. The design has yet to be depicted in an upper scale (Voyager/Leader)
3. There is no quality Generation or 3rd party style Ironhide available
4. The design has been used consistently for 7 years
5. It can be retooled into Ratchet

 

Common peeps, pls ore votes for slipstream

Anyways, my choices are, in order

1) Slipstream
2) Shockwave.

Pls make these 2 first, both are some of the best representations of the characters look wise, and really want to see in my collection.

3) hardshell (bombshell only out of the bugs)
4) warpath
5) Arcee ( if head sculpt can be made to look good ).

 

Bruticus, Insecticons, Ironhide, Warpath, and Slipstream.

 

Insecticons, Warpath, and Soundwave.

 

Shockwave, jetfire, slipstream, warpath, insecticons! Any space plane transformer that PX releases from this line i for sure will be buying, Warpath looks sick too.

 

Is Shapeshift Inc's Legends scale Ironhide really the only version to be released? Yeah, that is weird considering the WFC design has been the standard design for IDW.
I guess if Planet X doesn't want to tackle Ironhide maybe MMC's Reformated line has room for him.

 

Insecticons are the priority, at least finish the set with a deluxe Bombshell and Shrapnel. I would like to see PX do a good Bruticus too, now that there is a solid pattern to work from.

 

Shockwave, Bruticus, Slipstream, Zeta Prime and Warpath.

 

Planer X lololol

I seriously want a good FoC Bruticus. The Dinobots need something to chew even tho they only fought in the cinematic trailer.

Seeing as how their Trypticon also has LED's, they can put those ideas into Bruticus. At the very least for his head. That's like the common essential thing a 3rd party Transformer Combiner should have.

 

All this polling better lead up to something official. 'Cause all this hype for nothing = me hella-pissed

Unless you specifically mean WfC/FoC style, iGear did a pretty good Ironhide (and Ratchet) that stands a little taller than an MP car and plenty shorter than MP Ironhide. Works great for CHUG. Not sure about stock at regular stores, but he can be found for cheap fairly regularly on Ebay (I think I paid under $50). Look for "Weapon Specialist" or "Patrol Specialist." Weapon Specialist was the first run with all the extra weapons and accessories. Patrol Specialist was a second run with minor deco changes, fewer accessories, and a different head done as the Micromaster Tote.

 

Soundwave, Bruticus, Shockwave, Slipstream. I'm most interested in Soundwave and his minions.

 

Definetly most interested in Soundwave and his cassettes. After them a full on BRUTICUS, then Jetfire, Slipstream, and Ironhide. All in that order.

Oh man though like I LOVE Soundwave's FOC design. To get a redl of that from PX and all his minions to boot. I'd definetly get him.

Wait, Isn't Planet X already doing a Shockwave? And if every person gets to pick 5 of 10 options, I don't think you're going to show any real winner here.

 

Yeah I'm sad for that too, what a great looking design. However, I take comfort in the fact that I'm sure Planet X will get to all the designs eventually.

 

Based on this, I changed my vote, since if PSX already doing Shockwave, i dont need to vote for it, and now only voting for Slipstream. If they are not doing Shockwave, well, he still has alot of votes, and he is my number 2 want for sure.

Hardshell / Warpath / Arcee can wait....

Edit: Just in case, i revoted for Shockwave too along with Slipstream.  

 

They haven't confirmed they're doing a Shockwave.
IIRC, someone asked them on Facebook and they specifically said they weren't currently planning on doing one.
