Maybe if the head is damaged but the brain module is intact they just swap it into the new head? Idk, brain modules are a comics thing anyways

But the problem is that it is an entire head you would have to be Optimus primed just to replace your head

Didn't have any more spares lying around, so he just gave up.

It was definitely surreal. We never went to the theaters much due to costs and when we did it was a family film (like Benji the Hunted) or something 'safe' like Back to the Future. So I was completely confused when Season 3 started on tv and wondered where all my favorites went. Then I ended up missing some episodes (mom never did understand that seeing what would happen was more important than going to the store for dinner) that went over some of it (like Five Faces of Darkness and Dark Awakening).

It wouldn't be until my dad surprised me by renting it (I spent minutes just looking at the cover of the tape at the rental store - a mom and pop one that doubled as a music store) and I finally got to see. As time moves MUCH MUCH slower for a child (7 at the time) the first time I ever experienced freaking nostalgia was when Ironhide was first seen and I couldn't have been happier as it felt like a million years had passed since I saw him. And then it happened and I couldn't quite understand it at first. And then Prime died. I only remember what my mom told me that my head hung when it happened.

The greatest trauma though was Unicron. Too much for my 7 year old mind that opening utterly terrified me that any subsequent tape viewings were fast forwarded or hiding behind a rocking chair or couch.

Naturally, soon after this I finally caught that episode of Dark Awakening so that was a further gut punch.

Let’s be real for unicron that’s probably normal day for him but if he really gives you a nightmare then you would probably die in your sleep

Marvel is the definitive version of Blaster for me. Hence why I still have TR Blaster. Not only does he have the right head, but he scales with Grimlock so I can recreate this scene

I like the TR one (I painted the inside of his visor yellow and the head red) and it looks great with Grimlock but is way too big with the rest of the Cybertron Seven, IMO.. I put the dark-ism head on my Kingdom Blaster and he looks good (except I need a way to fill in the eyes yellow to make it a visor.

I put the FoC Voyager Blaster head on 86 Blaster. I like that one as it's a nice mix of Marvel Blaster (visor/shades and antennae) and Sunbow (but way more Marvel).

Can we get a release closer to this? I don't mean an exact match, but something closer to the og toy and far away from the man in a box animation model.

Missing link is probably the best chance for that. At least Earthrise had the sled, but obviously they still went toon with the body there.

Don’t tease me with a good time! Once I get my Marvel Ratchet, my next Ratchet dream is this in toy form. Missing link might be my only hope…
