I saw the post by someone else asking about the links that are appearing in threads at random, and I found an example as I noticed as well, but did not think anything of it at the time. Since we can not reply to other tech support threads, I had to start a new one, sorry. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/comic-books-graphic-novels/978136-true-marvel-going-online-only.html In my post in that thread (#5), I mention owning a Kindle, which now is underlined and when I scroll my mouse over it, it says "Link added by VigLink" and it is a link to Amazon to buy it. Edit: Once I posted this thread, the linking thingie appeared 3 times. Second Edit: Then when I edited the post to add the above edit, they disappeared, so I re-edited to add this, LOL
There is an automated script which converts certain words / links to tracking links on the back end. If you see any errors with that, please let us know. But, the automatic creation/alteration of them, that's acting as it's supposed to. In this case, the script recognized Kindle as a word which could be converted to link pointing to Amazon. It happens automatically per page load, it doesn't alter what you typed. Anything done by this backend script will be marked as you said, "... added by VigLink" when you hover the word. Hope that makes sense.
