I watched the first couple minutes of the video and all I got out of it was "we're gonna give these anime directors a story to draw, and anime is cool, and it's anime style, and batman is like an anime superhero(umm wtf, no?), and batman has always been very anime, and he'll blend well with anime, anime anime, animated anime, anime"

It looks ok. I'm not real keen on a few of the designs for Batman, but I'll probably check it out. The only part I didn't like of the video was that guy going on and on about how Batman is looking for a "master". It seemed like a lot of bs to me.

 

Looks pretty cool. I still need to pick up Superman Doomsday (relatively cheap hopefully) and I'd like to get New Frontier when it comes out.

 

Agreed! It just seems like their pandering to anime fans. Which is not to say that Batman fans don't also like anime but it seems unnecessary to have him in this style.

Man what's going on with Deadshot? I would think that if they really wanted to go with a millionaire going towards the dark side they would pick Catman? Bored millionaire, indeed. And look catboy lends itself so well to anime!

wow that rocked when is this due out as a new fan or anime i am def going to be checking it out kinda reminds me of Vampire Hunter D type animation

The fact that Batman as a character can and is being produced this way shows the flexability of the character and why he is such a timeless hero. You couldn't do half the things with Superman that you can do with Batman because he's power unlike Batman who is human.

This won't be for everyone, but I bet if you give it a chance, more of you will like what you see than won't.

 

Looks good to me. Batman has been drawn in countless different styles in comics over the decades, I don't see why there should be any issue with the same being the case in animation.

 

I think this looks very promising. I look forward to seeing it.
