I found this on my travels through the Bay. I've never seen this before. Is it a KO? I really like the colours on it.
OS isn't a Diaclone toy - it wasn't even a Takara mold - but you're on the right track (ha!). Only thing is, I can't remember if this was the KO or the original Mechabot-1.
Here is a photo of the one in the link: Here is a photo of another one up for auction: The main difference I see is the sticker on the chest (unless I'm just looking at it from an odd angle). That, and the fact that the second auction is at nearly $200 while nobody has bid on the first auction leads me to believe that the first is the KO while the second is the Mechabot-1.
http://diaclones.com/gallery.php?mo...x552-1092211337meca2.jpg&dispsize=800&start=0 I dont know, if it is a KO it's really close to the original... the red plastic is a lot brighter, that makes me think the first is a KO. The sticker seems identical, just shadowed in that second shot.
Hard to tell. If I could see pics of both in similar lighting... I think they're likely the same toy, but I can't tell from those pictures. Here's hoping we get an e-hobby release in those or similar colors. Looks nice.
Ah!! its the uk version, a company called Grandstand got the mold in the 80s and produced a line called converters of which this was one, I think he is called omegatron, he looks pretty cool which a repro autobot symbol on his chest, my mate did it to his and it now takes its place as a guardian unit. You shouldnt really pay more than £45 - £60 for one MIB, styro and everything
it is a Pre-TF OS it was sold as Omegatron,Mechabot-1 and one other name I think? depending on were you lived. There is also KO verson in blue/red/chrome, it is not really rare to find but rare if it is complete,
That looks like the original Mechabot-1. I almost bought an MISB of the KO version I'm familiar with, which has blue thrown in with those colours, yellow tracks, and CHROME mitts and backpack!
