Though Prime's really lacking without the trailer, it seems.

I'm liking Lugnut, but why is he a cargo plane? When I hear Lugnut, I think muscle car, motorcycle, or construction equipment, plane never really comes to mind - it's just a gearhead kinda name. Also, Prime looks like a mix between Energon (in overall shape and radar/head looking thing on the roof) and Cybertron (in the front windows and coloring). I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some complete figures.

 

Well, if I'm remembering correctly, "Lug" is also a word for "carry." So that could explain the cargo plane thing.

 

I agree about the name... it seems like for this series' new characters they're just pulling names out of the list that have only the vaguest bearing on the character, not necessarily names that really seem appropriate.

Similarly, Bulkhead's name makes me think of boats, spaceships... maybe even a cargo plane... doesn't really work for an armoured truck though. It seems like they just took names for those two guys based on the fact that it makes them sound lumbering, dense and thuggish. Kind of weak.

Prime looks like a homage to Energon Prime. Look at his alt mode.

And Lugnut looks pretty good in chopper mode, but where the hell is his head?

Another great animated figure. Damn, this animated line will be sucking up my wallet in a few months.
