    Pretty funny how Paramount and Hasbro have apparently run out of renders to use. Prime, BB and Megatron use the actual movie models from the international posters, but Barricade's head is from the lower-detail promotional renders ILM made for Hasbro to flog stuff with.

    As for Beginnings, Chris Ryall said it was animated to some extent awhile back.

    Judging by the artwork on the movie disc, it looks like it's just the single disc version of the film that's included along with the prequel disc. No 2-disc Special Edition. Bummer. :(

    I once considered collecting every single version of the movie released but this is crazy. I love the set, though!

    So...I have to spend $20 on this (I don't care if it's the prequel comic - it's narrated by Peter f***ing Cullen), and $25 on the two disc!?

    That's a pretty big step-up from Wally world's usual shrink wrapped bundle disc fare.

    I agree. I would get this at Wal Mart if it came with the 2-disc set.

    Gah. So, back to the one disc + Walmart disc and you have to buy the two disc separate.

    I would guess Target will pull the same thing.

    Best Buy seems the only company that sort of knows how to deal with exclusives for movie tie-ins. They pack them separate and hand them out at the register so it doesn't matter which version you buy.

    Nice, I'll be getting this one forsure, not it's just deciding on the other ones to get, I dont mind buying 2 diffenrent set, but I'm torn on 4 to get and thats just way to much

    So what will we be losing by buying the Wal-MArt single disc for the prequel instead of the 2-disc set without the prequel, and is it worth not having the prequel..... that is, is the prequel worth not having the extras in the 2-disc, which I originally planned on getting.

    If the prequel is *actually* animated and not still comic scenes VO'd by Cullen, I might (Read: MIGHT) actually forgo the two-disk to get it.

    Otherwise, I think I'll safely get the 2-Disk regardless of other exclusives.

    I've been planning on getting the HD DVD version, now do I want to mess with getting an extra copy just for that bonus disc? maybe, but I'll wait and see exactly what it is....

    The two disc is available everywhere except Walmart? Its hard to keep track of all these releases.
