Take a look at this crook, selling a KO Devastator Gift Set as a vintage.

I can understand this listing is a crock, but at least at least he's not passing off KO toys as being real. It still sucks but I don't see a KO box being as bad, IMO. Esentially you're paying for the toys, not the box.

Umm, but you're not paying $320 for the toys. This is vintage price. Bastard (messaged)!

It's hard to believe he doesn't know about the box, but ok, Let's say for a moment he doesn't know, however I bet he does know about the KO stickers. Take a look at his past auctions, he sold a few repro stickers: aerialbots, combaticons...if you look closely sometimes he upgrades his transformers with KO stickers.

Hey, it's just my opinion. I go for toy quality over box quality but that's just me. Whether or not this guy knows he's selling a KO box, he isn't setting his price waaay out of reach. I've seen C-9+ 100% complete Devastators sell for $250 (I was sniped on one that ended at that price).

All I'm saying is, it could be worse. He should know what he's selling but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt - it sucks but there's worse sellers out there for me to worry about.

I think he knows exactly what he is doing, this is why:

--He is always buying and selling G1 items
--I have yet to see a KO Devi box being sold as an original
--If he bought the box on Ebay, and he was jaw-dropping happy, why is there no record of it in his feedback
--KO's are popping up everywhere, and he comes across a flawless MINTY Devi box, just box+styro for sale, and he naturally assumes he is just the luckiest guy on Ebay right-----Come on.
--Everybody can give him the benefit of the doubt all they want, I feel like giving him something else.

There's been at least one revision, so maybe this wasn't there earlier
Makes just enough sense to me, although I wouldn't say this comment isn't prominent enough for everyone to catch.

lol, he states its a remake box but his listing is still full of funny spelling errors.

i hate KOs trying to be passed as real, collecting is an expensive hobby and everyone could use the extra cash for MIB/rare whatever but ripping off fellow collectors is just so shady.
