Well, first thing that can be improved is the dialogue. Proper sentence forming, use of capital letters, punctuation, etc. The comic looks shoddy because it lacks those. (Even though the fonts are readable now.) Secondly as to the recent comics, maybe still pictures are best used as captioned one-shot funnies (Jetplague's Funny Formers is one of the best examples of side-splitting captioned pics). Perhaps you lack the tools to take your own pics and make a comic out of it? Lastly...I suppose the comic lacks humour overall. And humour is not something that can be (nor should it be) explained. Humour can be developed though, no one was laughing at my jokes 10 years ago, at least now I get a few chuckles here and there, but only after observing the ways of the funny. Keep at it.
