Is is wrong to use the word SEXY for the bot mode? Me want!

 

It may be voyager, it may be deluxe, I believe its going to be packaged with a smaller Megatron, so it may be an "in-between" size. Who knows? It's not THE Voyager class, which is the first image shown on the ACtoys page.

Agreed, the prototype pics we have all seen has more detail, the drop down face place and the eyes are not as large, plus it has a bigger axe.

So that makes 3 Optimus (Optimi?) I have to get now, damn you hasbro!

 

The proto looks better than the actually finish. But the toy is impressive. Im sold... im buying animated...

 

I love the design. Not too crazy on the battle damage, though.

The bot mode looks good but I don't care much for the battle damage.

 

That doesn't look like cybertron prime or voyager prime.

He also looks more 'geewunish'.

Smokestacks? Animated Prime doesn't have smokestacks, he is a firetruck.

 

You might have something there.

After a second look, he does favor a G1 homage of sorts. He transforms into a regular truck with smokestacks. It might be a retool for Cybertronain Optimus Prime deluxe into a G1 homage Prime.

Heh.. you know... you're right. Animated prime doesn't have stacks. Maybe once upon a time he did, on a design sheet somewhere. Who knows?

I'm much more interested in seeing deluxe cybertron megs, though  

 

According to the dudes that got the club magazine, it's DELUXE Earth Mode Prime and Cybertronian Deluxe Megatron, but no one said if Megatron got damage or not.

 

Maybe somebody should edit the title of this thread and the first post to point out that the new pictures are of the Deluxe class Earth Mode Prime from the 2-pack?

No, it's Deluxe class Earth mode Prime.

Voyager one is more detailed. This toy uses very similar engineering to the Deluxe class Cybertron Mode Optimus Prime.

Indeed it is. I was posting it for comparison purposes to point out that exact fact.

Wow. Other than the battle damage, this Prime looks outstanding, in both modes.

Also notice how Animated prime has BLUE/Black lovehandles in vehicle mode and he looks like Pepsi-prime? (red, white stripe, blue)

This toy has red lovehandles like G1 prime. (red, white stripe, red)

(I know vehicles don't have lovehandles but that is the area)

Maybe a Cybertron megs painted like Galvatron?

Don't know what this is supposed to be but it is totally not what we have seen or expected.
