So guess what...I won the damn thing and then because he didn't get what he expected refunds me the money. You should have put a higher minimum bid or at least a reserve. Thats just lowdown. I can understand if you had made a mistake, but you damn well that you could get the minimum amount as a winning price. Name goes to bad ebay sellers list now.
No, I didn't know that--when I made the original post, there was no option for a reserve bid. I found out after the auction I had to edit the pricing info to bring up the reserve option. As I've said to you three times now, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. List me as whatever you want, and stop PM'ing me at eBay.
I think you owe him $5.99 + tax for pain and suffering. And not that fake Canadian money...real dollars.
Guess binding contract dont mean shit any more. Very Lame on your part, I am almost 100% sure on page 3 when you list where you set the start you can set the reserve
I am all over ebay buying and selling. I gotta tell you Starfire....that's is totally f*#&ed up!! By placing an item on ebay you have to accept that it may noT go for what you want it to. And by ebays rules when an item is won (not to mention payed for) you and the buyer have made a contractual agreement to that sale. You can't bail simply because you don't like what your item sells for. It is immoral and unethical....And very bad buisness. I will never buy from you. BAD FORM !!
Update: Starfire and I came to an agreement after both of us cooled down. I won't go into details, but I feel we are both pleased.
Good for you. Now unless I ask for your opinion, keep it to yourself. That applies to anyone else who has something to say as well.
dude, dont get pissed cause you screwed up and people are voicing their opinions. you posted this thread and then someone from this board won your auction and you backed out on them because it wasnt enough money for you. everybody has the right to post on this board whether you give them permission or not(as long as they dont get to vocal in their opinions). I'm glad you and the buyer came to a mutual agreement, and I personally feel that you made an honest mistake, but vector posted before that was made clear and there is no reason to be nasty about it. on another note: for new sellers out there, it took alittle while for me to learn all the rules and ways of selling toys on ebay(and i made some mistakes along the way), if you have a question, just post it or pm me and i'll try my best to help you out so these things like this dont happen to sellers or buyers. and once again i'm glad you and the buyer came to deal over what happened.......and your thundercracker rocks.-damon
Dude, you put yourself out there by posting. So don't be surprised that people give you their opinions. Just get over it. If you can't handle opinions, then don't post.
