Got a bunch of neat stuff from Shapeways for commissions yesterday, painted them all night, and figured I'd post them up before I crash. Sorry Rampage is holding the energon shard blade because my Depthcharge is MIB and wants to stay that way, and sorry the blade is almost the same blue as the background! You get the idea though. That sword is beautiful. I was considering scratchbuilding one a while back, but this looks so much better than what I might've made.

Oh dude, the spark holder and blade look AWESOME... but they're way too big for the figure. >_< Considering no other body of his used it, it'd look steller shrunken down to fit the TM body's size. Dinobot's sword is FLAWLESS. I didn't know Shapeways printed that smooth.
Nice paint work. I really like the final battle Rampage with his spark showing through his chest btw. Edit: After looking around Shapeways for a bit I think I found them: Supervir2 by mtandy on Shapeways I'm definitely going to have to pickup that Dinobot sword.
Just to clarify - that is my store, but I didn't model them. I commissioned them from Tecrom Designs who did a stellar job and then Unicron9 added superb paints to them. Couldn't keep the coolness to myself. To split lip: like I said above...the spark holder is a little large, but detail and ease of painting would be sacrificed at a smaller size (as well as restraints on size due to materials and printing methods). The Energon Blade I feel is good though - larger than how it was depicted in the show for sure, but not grossly out of proportion...plus it exists
No I haven't painted it yet since we aren't yet sure if we will use it for upgrading the upcoming Hasbro figure or a new full build. It looks absolutely perfect though. Umm... that IS Generations Dinobot in the photo right? Having had a few in hand that crumbled due to GPS and having heard so many stories, yeah, I worry when I mess with my TM Megs, but I have yet to have an issue with mine so far. Yep. They had more mold release goo than usual so I had to do a lot of soaking and washing. Stuff feels like condom goo... What the boss here said. I would have made a smaller spark device look good too but it is true the detail can look better with more room to work.
