Good evening all. Tonight I present my interpretation of Camshaft using a DOTM Jolt. Of course proper credit must be given to Crown whose idea I borrowed heavily from. Here's his work >> http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radic...con-some-other-things.html?highlight=camshaft << Camshaft is the second in my Omnibot project, here is a link to my first, Downshift >> http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radic...t-downshift.html?highlight=Classics+Downshift << I used Testors flat gray primer on the arms and Krylon fusion paint and primer mix for the head and missile launcher. Speaking of the arms, the shoulder joint comes from a PRID Knockout and the arms are from a Generations Wheeljack. Missile launcher comes from a broken TFC Gears Of War set launcher I had lying around. I modified a TFTM Longarm head and used a little apoxie sculpt to closer represent Camshaft's head. G1 reprolabels finish off this guy, I kinda like to put the old stickers on my customs, idk, just my thing I guess lol, but I like it. As always, comments and crits are appreciated. Thanks for looking, Overdrive is coming real soon. Good night and God bless.
Wow, I'm definitely getting a "classics" vibe from him even though the mold was from a movie toy. I really dig the head sculpt.
Looks great! Thought this mold had some "classics" potential to it. Head looks a tad big for it but still great!
Thanks fellas! Thank you my friend. I do have to go back and shave the head down just a hair though, when transforming Camshaft to bot mode I broke one of the pieces I sculpted on the head, which tells me something you already spotted... the head is a bit too big lol.
