I humbly submit my first attempt at a Transformer custom. It's clearly a Decepticon, but I haven't give it a name. Also clear is that is completely inspired by Jin Saotome's awesome custom, Blackjack. I opted to use Oilpan's head, and add a bit more color to mine in order to differentiate a little. It took quite a bit of elbow grease to get Oilpan's head off and then even more to get it on Hubcap's neck. Once on, the sides of the head needed to be shaved down in order to fit in alt mode. I used Testor's acryllics (per nearly every 'which paint to use' topic on the message boards), and covered it in Future Finish. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I feel that the windows are its biggest weak spot, but I was at a loss as to what I should do with them. Black would blend in with the rest of the car, and when I tried white and later gray, they both just looked 'blah'. So, I painted silver and then a thin coat of Decepticon-y purple, which kind of works. I welcome any and all criticism, and thanks for looking!
oooohhh..its the Godfather/ TF crossover!!..The Corleones have a new back up..and its The Decepticon Rub-Out!!.. i think rub out is an another word for kill in a mafia kind of slang??..
Thanks guys! I'm kind of digging 'Rub-Out,' too. Now if I can just find a scout-sized switchblade so that he can hand out some 'Cybertronian neckties' ...or hell, maybe just a good ol' baseball bat like Al Capone in The Untouchables
