Yup, I'm impatient, been waiting for this guy for too long. I finally got my hands on another Turbo Tracks, and decided he had to become the master mechanic. I took the head from a TFTM Big Daddy, and modded it to fit the ball jointed neck. Then I scratch built a spoiler from styrene, and fitted it to the rear of the car. All base coats are HoK Kustom Kolor paints, with Testors Model Master enamels used for the detail work. His stripes are painted, and are color matched to Boggs6ft7's excellent decal work. Amazing how he gets em that small and that sharp. I threw in a shot of him next to my gift from BigHank (thanks again David), for a little before and after.
The head sculpture and painting are really nice! like it. It will be better if you make his chest a smoother shape
man that is awesome i wish i wasnt lazy then i would have done that lol but hay that looks awesome great detil on it
That does look beautiful. Just a thought, though - it looks like he's still got the Tracks kneecaps on the backs of his legs, which I think have been altered on the Wheeljack release. It probably won't matter to whoever buys this, as it'll most likely be a display piece (and a gorgeous one at that), but how do they affect the knee articulation?
Great custom, only thing is the arms could do with some more white, they look a little weird being dark against the white body
Thanks everyone! As far as articulation in the knee, I took the Tracks knee cap down flush to the lower leg pivot point, which does regain full range of motion. It's actually a little better than the reverse as Tracks, because of the design of the joint.
