you know the drill. blah blah prowl repaint into jazz, blah blah IDW jazz style. blah blah i have no skills whatsoever to do a porsche EDIT 7/30/2010: Finally done! it's not perfect but it'll tide me over until generations jazz hits shelves! lightpiping shown with help from my LED Lighter: people to thank: again, HxcPunk23 for getting the ball rolling, spoonman for also being a visual inspiration, also i forgot another radicon who recently put up his own jazz which got me to digging this old thing from the bin and start working again. thanks man! EDIT: it was megatron31. thanks for reminding me about jazz with your custom! TFL
My oh my ! Your Jazz looks great and its almost a toy replica of the IDW version, just curious though, how did you put those car doors on his forearms ?
Damn that's sweet!!!!!!!! I think I have a special place in my heart for this.My first post on here was IDW Jazz but I never finished him.I'm glad to see someone else getting him done!!!!!! Now I might have to finish mine
thanks dudes! first i drilled small holes into the forearms and installed a ball-joint on the peg. then i glued the square socket onto the inside of the door. works really well, actually. i'm now planning to reduce the gaps done by the mod by adding styrene to the inside corners *high five* i have high hopes the generations jazz is the IDW version
ang galing naman ng doors mo. maari bang magpacommission sayo pare? masyado akong busy ngayon at matagal mo na akong pinapalaway sa jazz mo.
dang it i couldnt for the life of me figure out how do do the doorss on the arms so i folded them behnd the back now i wish i had thought a little harder need better pics of this design please its awesome
That is so cool. I love how you put the doors on his arms. I copied the pic just in case I ever attempt this. Great job. Can't wait to see him all done.
so do you have the side windows on a hinge? and my next question where does the rest of the side of the car go in robot mode does it tuck behind the roof? i think im gonna have to do mine over
they're on a ball joint. it's much more flexible, the rest of the front sides tuck into the back. they're obstructed from view by the roof though.
ive gone one i posted up where i did the same thing i just didnt attatch the doors to the arms or do what you did with the front end it looks like what i wanted to do but couldnt thanks for the tips maybe i can pull it off on mine as well
The doors on his arms was a great step. Looks good, and you don't have to worry about that whole assembly popping off during transformation. Can't wait to see the rest.
I'll disagree with your first post: I think this is a very skilled custom I really like everything you've done with it. I really hope the Hasbro version we're getting soon looks a lot like this (or just as cool)
hay thanks for the tip i wouldnt figer it out in like a millions of yrs lol awesome stuff u got there
