    Greetings once again,

Not satisfied with slapping an actionmasters head on cybertron figures (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/312168-classics-chromedome.html), I've tried to modernise jackpot!

Jackpot was a childhood favorite of mine. Yes he was a actionmaster and yes he didn't have any kind of meaningful characterization until Gone too Far, but dammit I liked him! So I've attempted to update him here. He’s still pretty rough and in need of a better paint job.

The base figure is the 2007 deluxe Movie Bumblebee, and the head (surprisingly enough) was taken from an actionmaster jackpot. I simply glued the head in place.

The Colours used were vallejo glossy black, silvergrey (for the windows and front), Florescent Orange for the kneecaps and feet and some Citadel Sunburst Yellow for the arms, thighs and mid-section.

I'm really not happy with the state of the windows - its very streaky and smudged, not to mention uneven. I need to go back with some masking tape and to them right. And the Organge feet and knees need a few more coats.

Sights was simple. I repainted his main body with the same glossy black, while painted his head, legs and wings with Citadel Ultra marine blue.

When I display this guy, I think I'll keep his door kibble folded down.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    OMG, this is awesome!

My brother has Jackpot in his collection. I remember playing with Jackpot as a kid, so it's neat that somebody's bringing Jackpot back to life in a transformable custom figure. :D

Oh very nice!! I like this very much!
I hadn't thought of using the movie Bee for my Jackpot, but looking at yours, wow the chest really is spot on! Clever use of the original head on the new toy, it's amazing how the new head changes the toy from movie to classics!!

LOVE me some ActionMasters, and Jackpot has been just DYING to get done, what with that very traditional car-hood-chest and all.

    Great job!

I may be wrong but given the size and detailing I think it's the original action master head for him, or mayhaps a recast of such.

Thanks guys! I took another stab at him today and managed to clean him up a bit. Think hes looking a bit better. Hope to get a few better pics of old jackpot up.

Thanks Alternon and destrongerlupus, I had considered using the 76 camaro version, but I thought the 2009 camaro was a lot better for jackpots chest. I had considered using a classics prowl, but I've got 4 customs that already use that mold and thought my shelf could use a little more variety!

Yup, I used the original Jackpots head! Its only glued on. If I was a bit more skilled I could have tried getting it on the ball joint. But alas, I suck!

    Thanks guys!

Nice I did my jackpot using the Crosswise mold. I didn't think there was enough interest in him to post the pics but maybe I was wrong.

Thanks man, I don't know about that, your still lightyears ahead of me in ability.

The problem with me getting a dremel is that the temptation to start drilling holes in my friends heads might get the better of me >:)

I will look into getting one. Working on anything yourself at the min dude?

Thanks dude. Well after robbing an actionmaster of his head, i thought i may as well steal his partner and gun.
