that was the biggest project in those 1.5 yrs that i'm bashing
and my first articulation project

it took me around 2-3 weeks to finish this giant block ,but they spread on 4 months or so  

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOTS EVER - its op it has a trailer -trailer transforms into a base and the lower (actualy most of the body ) body of a giant bot , its a power master gimmick " high q" . so u get 3 bots and 2 alt mods

the first time i got this one , i enjoyed playing with him like a little boy , making vroooom vrooooom sounds and all (waht can i do i'm 30 and i still play with my bots) but i couldnt understand why couldnt they make him more articulated this beast weighs a ton and the plastic is realy sturdy .....
if they can i can !!


whats been done :
lil bot
articulated hands on a ball joint
elbow- was there
swivel at the arms
shoulders - ball joint
head - ball joint and forwarding neck
light up eye-via smd operated by micro switch - 4.5 volts
the eyes are now blue even when the smd doesnt work
hips - ball joint
knees- taken from inferno enregon junker
sperated the legs
lights to the truck-super powerfull LED'S micro switch (yes another one ) -4.5V
fuel tanks - connected via strong RE magnets
mp op smoke stack and a aluminium antenna
rubber tires - with chormed rims
BIG BOT
light up eyes - via LED and a microswitch
elbows- again the same inferno junker -swivel
hips +knees- from a RID megatron junker - i thicken them to look like the real deal.

i painted this guy with ravel enamels - number 34 - glossy ferrari red
number 350-semi matte lufthansa blue
several shades of silver #91 , chrome#90, bronze #93
some p3 formula paints
some tamiya paints
alclad2 chrome
everything was covered with 2 coats of slovak brand of future 
925 silver gilding to the front of the cab

some accesoies were added - a sword made from one of predaking's sword and a gundam blade
and mp op blaster
lil bot has 1 set of hands
and big bot has 2
roller got a gun as well( it can b used to fuel as well -lol) from a ko predaking's guns

Decals were printed on a lazer printed and they were custom made by my talented friend Lidar thomas AKA InvincibleSoul (u'll see more colaberations with this awesome guy )

in the old wip post i'll make a tutorial of several of the techniques i used (it will take me some time to write it all down so bare with me .)

That's awesome!!! I wish I could get mine to look like that,I love all the extra little details you put into this thing for the realism. You're doing the Armored mode as well, right??

Awesome...... I forgot how awesome this figure was and this is even better. I think my favorite part of the whole this is the placement of roller and how it closes the gap between the cab and trailer. FantAstic job all the way around!

Incredible work! The paintwork is nice and smooth and the mods are top notch.

The pic of prime sitting on the crapper cracked me up.

 

That's pretty wild looking. I love the added articulation and especially all the detailing. The potty pic is a little disturbing though. I also hate to say that his PM Mode looks somewhat dwarfish but maybe it's just the pics. I still love it. Excellent work.

In terms of articulation for both modes - amazing work!
I love the light-up eyes and the fact that the smaller Prime now has blue eyes instead of red. Works better IMO.

Things that bothered me a bit were the little Primes' palms, they look like skeleton hands compared to his arms structure. Maybe a little larger palms could be better in the kind of style you've used for the super mode.

The supermode Primes' head seems too high, like his neck is too long.
I do, however, love the springs you used to make the neck details and of course, the light up eyes on him!

After the "bad" comments, I'll continue to say that this is truly your greatest creation so far!
The detailing, stickers (way to go InvincibleSoul for the design!) , new wheels... everything fits and works beautifully!

How did you overcome the "lock" mechanism? Did you remove the hook that is being released when high q is inserted?

Personally I like it better. Prime doesn't need a puny nebulon to become a super Japanese robot thingy!
