YourReflection and I are collaborating to bring to life Powermaster Armor for the classics prime mold. Its a part of the guest designer series.

I'm designing and in the process of scratchbuilding a prototype. I'm super psyched about seeing this transformed from 2D art to 3D toy :)  We've been waiting until I've gotten to a good place in the build before unveiling it.

A little background, this is my first scratchbuild/custom, but I'm familiar with sculpting sculpey maquettes. I'm applying all I learned from this site and my experience to this project.

Every piece is removable and the art is to 1:1 scale.

Looks great. But i'm slightly concerned with the articulation left after you add the armor. Most parts i see have been designed to let the joints work, but it's still a concern.

    Otherwise, great work.

    We think alike.

My first thought when I saw the sketch was "send it to fansproject!", but you seem to be doing just fine. :thumbs2:

    Thanks!

Articulation is also a concern for me as well, especially as I add more material. I make adjustments from the art as needed. I'll see about scanning up my other blueprints.

I do happen to have a really tiny sketch, I'll work up something bigger :)  As for cost we will let you know as soon as possible.

    WOOO!

    City-Commander eat your heart out!

I've already got a Ginri under commission, but I'd be all over having a set of this design to be "Nucelon Quest Super Convoy"

    YR-

You've never really been clear on how these designer sets are going to work. Are they going to be ebay'ed-one-offs, or is there repro'ing in the future of these projects?

    Will do!

Well, I cant give everything away, can I? :D

LoL, I was just thinking of all the color schemes people could come up with... but this will be a kit like the Complete Brutality set. So everyone who wants one should have a shot at it.

    Hey D/L,

Everything in the Kidbash Designer Series will be produced in a limited run and available only from the Kidbash store. No ebaying here. TGping will be one of the first featured designers in the series.

The program is designed to help facilitate more community involvement and more fun for all.
