ive always had more love for the bots from the final seasons of g1 as opposed to the first g1 waves.i also really love the cybertron dirtboss mold and i always wondered who dirtboss kept reminding me of.this is the end result when you combine a cyb. dirtboss,movie stockade head,2 small lego bits and classics cyclonus's partner.i do still have to go back and do touch ups in certain spots i noticed after taking these pics.the only real headache was painting his targetmaster "pinpointer"cause of his size.his windows and head lights are wrapped in avery vinyls,and the rest is acrylics coated with a matte clear.
man, the only way that could be more perfect would be if you could've modified the toy so the chest rotated. Nice one.
Dude, BRILLIANT! That is perfect, I never made the connection between the vehicle modes of those two figures before. Great idea! Shoot, now I want them to release a repaint like this as a Universe filler. My only bit of tiny, very subjective criticism would be that I almost think Dirt Boss' original head would have worked better.... only because it has that viewfinder thing over one eye, which seems to fit the idea of a Targetmaster. But like I said, very subjective.... and I like the head you picked!

Aw man, some one beat me to it! I was planning on doing this guy, since I'm doing the rest of the original Target Masters :c I was even considering this mold. Either way, excellent work. It'll give me some ideas and refference for when I tackle this project :]
This is my kind of repaint. I too love "later" G1 characters...so much weirder than the first batch. And the Dirt Boss mold is great. Nice job.
I used to have a Dirtboss. I must have stares at it for hours trying to think of something I could use it for, before I finally gave up and traded him. I never woulda thought of this. Pure genius! I love it. It's the perfect update for Crosshairs.
