Hey gang! Just wanted to share a few pics of my "big" combiner project for 2009! It seems to be a requirement lately to have a Gi-nor-mous Combiner on the work table!! LOL This is a study in engineering for me, the main goal being to make a "perfect" combiner, with NO additional parts to combine them! Very much in the vein of RID Railracer, Go-Bots Puzzler, etc. Aesthetics will of course be a priority, but I will be focusing on posability, stability, and of course, perfect combining figures! I am working with a 9 member team , a bit more than I originally intended, but still it's comin' along great! The green outline is where Uni. Silverbolt will form the chest piece, and the left upper/lower arm will be Uni. Treadbolt and Marvel X-over Iron Man, respectively. Still need to aquire Silverbolt and another Treadbolt. The hands/fingers will be incorporated using the existing jet parts, and the feet as you can see are integrated as well. The head will be attached and stowed in Armada Jetfire's cargo bay! All other components are various molds TF'ed into shape. You can see the "tape test" configuration, and he stands on his own with just tape ! I feel this will be very stable once I do the joint tightening and connectors. He's comin' in right about 19 inches at the shoulder, his head should get him up to 21 inches. At the shoulder wing cannons he is gonna reach 2 feet or better! The Gestalt name is Diavolus Legion, I wanted to go for a monstrous, hulking Gestalt, but still kind of agile looking. The arms won't be quite so long looking after I do the connectors, but I am going for a slightly ape-like stance! I want something that looks so formidable it will just break the Autobot's sparks, even before he breaks their bodies! Wow, BH. I thought you were going to keep this guy under your hat for awhile yet. As I've said to you before, I can't wait to see this guy. It will be good practice for future projects
Yeah, another New Years resolution down the crapper! I was inspired by UltraMagnus2008's "Superion"! We are both doing Large Class aerial combiner teams, so I thought I'd post up, maybe we can toss ideas back and forth! I would love to get a "face-off" gallery of the two Gestalts beating the tar outta each other, that would rock!
Holy crap bh! It's like you scanned my mind and decided to make a combiner based on my favorite preferences! Jets and Planes? Check! No additional combining parts? Check! More than just 5 team members? How 'bout 9? WTF?!?!?! I am totally psyched to see how this turns out. Sorry it meant having to break a resolution but I'm really glad you decided to share this!

I love that motto myself, it really shows Sparkbreaker's shoot first mentality! Silverbolt(Skyblazer) will act as a chestpiece to tie it all together!
