WIP 4 - MENASOR - 99% Complete - Missing head ***Update 2/10*** Received a head (Thanks YourReflection) and just posting some pics of the full guy. ***Update 1/26*** All painted up but just missing the head. I'm not as proud of this guy as I was my last. I guess it was just harder to get Galaxy Optimus to work well with the group. Oh well...Keep moving forward! Well seeing that there are currently 12+ Combiner threads started/updated within the last week, What's one more? I really can't take any credit for this one since it was F_R that inspired me to do this guy. Since I can't rest till I make one of each, Menasor is being worked on now that Bruticus is done. I was actually against posting this guy due to the fact that: 1) There are a lot of combiners being made(seems like the month of superion) 2) This gestalt has been done already. Well sorry guys but I still need feedback on stuff for gestalt mode and I figured this is the best place. Sorry, the unicron waist and Primus hands stay. I'm more concerned about the midsection, feet, and the overall proportions. Thanks and enjoy!
never too many, he looks fine, my only gripe would be the height of the torso, but it appears there's very little that can be done there aside from that he's looking good, wow 4 gestalts, respect to you
Its really looking nice Moe! i have an idea, why not bash a Trailer for Motormaster n make it for Ex: A Sheild or weapons or maybe even a chest peice? still its really looking great!
Shield sounds great. I always felt he needed one. I need to P/U some more styrene for that. Any ideas for good mini hinges to use?

dang Moe, do you ever sleep? Props to you. If your going by F_R's design, I remember him using the Primus abs/midsection to fill in the lower torso, have you given that a try? Just wondering, are the doors supposed to be on the feet like that? BTW, the Unicron part for the shoulders look really cool. It's almost like he's got rocket launchers.
Huh, the torso actually looks okay to me. Of course it would be nice if it weren't quite so back-heavy, but I don't think there's anything you can do about that. It probably helps with stability somehow anyways?
I think the trailer is a good idea, maybe (side willing) you could then store the waist/torso and arms in it when he's in alt mode.
looks real nice, but i think the upper chest (where primes windshield is) should be widened if the torso is going to be as long as it is. it will give it more of a V shape and broader shoulders. it will make him look more menacing (forgive the pun)
No sure how the police doors will look when painted and may be swap the hands out with the arms so that way the blasters will be under the hands like the G1 toon. Other wise it looks good.
I'm starting to agree, I don't like the doors anymore. probably just build something out of styrene to extend it further. Also, I took the blasters away from this guy. I didn't think he had any. I'll give your suggestion a go to see how they look swapped. Thanks!
As far as the feet go you could use what FrenzyRumble used, which I think were modified G1 Omega Supreme feet. They usually range from about $5 to $10 + shipping on ebay.
Menasor had single blasters under each of his forearms. He only used them in "Masquerade". Is it possible to tilt the Prime legs straight up as to form a "backpack" type look. Either way, he's lookin damn fine.
moe,what are the flat pieces that connect from shoulder to lower arm and the cars sit on to for arms?
On my "Show yourself" thread I put down that I have a background in construction. Before I was using styrene, my form of styrene was the single gang and double gang electrical box (http://www.hardwarestore.com/media/product/227322_front200.jpg) usually about $0.35 per box. This sucker is thicker then most styrene and they have a right angle already made for me when I need it. Another good thing about it is that I can heat it up and mould it to anything else around it. When I did Defensor, Groove pretty much sat in one of these modified, cut, and then melted to form completely around grove so it didn't look like just a box. You can get the box at any Lowes or home depot. Sometimes they are grey. ***Just an update*** He's all painted but he's still missing a head so I think I'll wait till SB gets back up and running to use some of his fine creations. Until then, Superion is in the planning stages.
Doin' good here Moe!! You gonna knock out all the combiner groups? I like the looks of this on so far! I don't think the torso would look too long at all if you could somehow attach Menasor's head in such a way that the square top of the torso mimics the "box" Menasor's head sits in.
