Here is my fire truck back for the deluxe animated optimus prime its still a little rough figured i'd see what peoples suggestions were. well ive done most of the painting, but i still need go back over some parts of it before attatching the wheels for good right now the extra wheels are only attached by sticky tak.
This could be a super mode for Prime on the show as well. Looking good so far. Will this also serve as additional armor in bot mode?
It looks great. However, have you thought about lengthening it a bit and adding two more axles in the rear? Or you could always "wide body" the kit and add faux wheels (or real) over the sides. Add the appearance that Prime has 8 wheels like the pic - when the toy would only have the four. Nice regardless. ~Z
Yeah, I'm thinking wheel panels covering up the existing wheels. The placement's just too far off otherwise.
I used styrene, two part epoxy putty, model glue and and plenty of imagination its to late tonight but I did do some more work on it today and ill post pics either tomorrow or friday. -Primeone
I'm really liking the look of this trailer, it fits him well. I would try and etch in that silver stripe on the trailer, just to make it look a lil better, but it's sweet. I may be begging you to let me steal this idea!
That looks really good! Hasbro seriously needs to understand that we want trailers. Keep in mind the wheel doesn't have to spin. Hasbro and Takara put non-spinning wheels on figures all the time. ~Z
