Here is a little something i did today. I need to top up on some paint stock tomorrow, so i can finish the painting. When i do i'll put up bot mode pics.

Update - Ive added 2 bot mode pics, as requested by many. Ive also modded the wheels forward slightly. Im toying with the idea of the extra exhausts tomorrow, so more pics to come.

I had a spare set of Mirage wheels, which i scratch built 'axls' for, and drilled them into the existing frame work, quite easy really, im suprised no-one has done the same before.

Not yet, im just letting some glue dry, and still need to add paint apps. I'll put up bot mode pics tomorrow.

That's badass! You stoel the idea right out from under like 10 other customizers. It might have been done before but I've never seen it and certainly not on this SE Dragstrip. Kudos!

That looks great, and you are right, I am supprised not to have seen this done before. The mod is clean and so is your paint job so far, defintly want to see this finished.

Excellent mod! It's one so many people have done but without the G1 accurate extra wheels. You went the extra mile! Can't wait to see the robot mode.

 

Now that's the way SE Dragstrip should have been from the start.

 

Oh, no it wasn't repainted, that's how the figure came, deco-wise.
The wheel-mod looks great though, especially with some red paint on those wheels to make them match.

 

This is what I'm talkin' about! I like the Classics Sunsteaker engine as well! 6 wheels FTW!!

Yup I actually just watched the video before I commented earlier today. Looks pretty cool but I like the formula 1 style more
