It wasn't as thrilling as episode 17 but it was still a good episode. It definitely established some things.

I'm still holding out hope that Megs will make a return in some fashion, even if it's just a head.

Yeah Starscream will be missed. Really was hoping they would have enough time to explore his traitorous side in the films.

I suppose there is a sliver of hope, though. Starscream clones are pretty common throughout TF history so they could use that as a way to get a Starscream like character back into the movieverse.
