i dunno. but then again theres a WFC 2 Coming next year so that means prime doesnt take place AFTER WFC1 or unless wfc2 focuses on something that happened at the same time with wfc or before it

That's the point. He isn't Optimus Prime. He's just a red & blue robot w/ his name, voice actor, part of his Rank, & an approximation of his altmode. He doesn't behave like an Optimus Prime; he doesn't have the personality of an Optimus Prime; he doesn't have the beliefs & values that make an Optimus Prime.

Optimus Prime is supposed to be Noble. He's supposed to value the life of EVERY LIVING BEING, even Decepticons, above his own. He's gentle, & in battle only does what is necessary. He wouldn't take a life that wasn't absolutely necessary; & would regret doing so if he ever did take a life, even if it was the only way to save the universe.

what i think is this Optimus Prime is Tired of war and such and wants to end it at all cost. canon or not i was reading Foundation and Prime used to be a noble autobot, Until he thought Sentinel Died (but he never died of course) and from that moment he becmae the Autobot we see in the Movies

actually 3. I have read some G1 Comic books (BUT NEVER SAW THE SHOW), i just read some g1 comics cuase they sounded interesting to me (like the ones were they appear with the Marvel charaacters) and i played the Wii version of the WFC Game (which is part of hte Priem Continuty family), that makes 3 continutys

Mythology. TransFormers has a lot going on in the background. A lot more than War for Cybertron covers. TransFormers has a very rich & deep backstory/ history.

If you don't care about the characters, there's no point in bothering w/ any of the fiction. TransFormers then just becomes a highly engineered toy line.

i do care on the characters. i care of many characters from shows, comcis etc etc. i saw and i do care fo the characters in the movieverse. what im saying is that the lack of character develoment was never a problem with me, if a character lacks develoment on anything like in the Kugn fu padna, Mario games, Spongebob, Madagascar, Fairly oddparents, Phineas and ferb ANYTHING im like "whatever, not a big problem"

in my opinion Bayformers is the best incarnation of the franchise

heres my reason

DESPITE I LOVE CARTOONS, the reason of why i refuse on watching them is Because i prefer seeing Transformers in a Live Action Setiing. thus i have hard tiem accepting in seeing them in a animated setting (Books, Comcis and gaems dont coutn cause well theres no way to make them take palce in a live action setting, also i jsut read the books and comics for 1. they have a interesting story i would liek to read or 2. cuase i wanna learn more of the movieverse. and for games cause they are games and i LOVE GAMES). the only animated thing i saw for tf its the Cyber Missions webshow, but that was just cause it was part of Bayformers and nothing ELSE and i didnt wanted to miss anything of the movieverse

SEE it doesnt make sense so thats why i never revealed it

btw i do have a reason on why i dotn wanan see them. but it doesnt make any sense so i never revealed it cause i fear some of guys may think im jsut lying and making up a excuse

Vote Rattrap to the TF Hall of Fame

Why I think Rattrap deserves to be in the TF HoF:

First, Rattrap was an excellently defined character. Probably one of, if not THE, most defined characters, ever! (really wish I could retrieve the post that I grouped them all together in, as I phrased it better there)
He wasn't just some goody, goody. He was right on the fence regarding behavior: he'd fight dirty, cheat, steal & generally sink to the level of the Preds, or worse, Decepticons, but only for the side of good.
He was irreverent & always had a snide comment ready
He had total disregard for authority & had no problem letting Optimus Primal know!
but in spite of all of this, he had a defined moral code & would not cross it... He even came out more honorable than Dinobot!
& Rattrap's character didn't change much in Beast Machines.
When he finally transformed, & learned he had no weapons (even in Beast Wars, he felt naked w/o them... It's even in his BIO!), he complained the entire time, as was expected of him after Beast Wars, & went to Megatron for some, honored his agreement to protect him (having been told the Maximals wouldn't attack him, so it was initially one of his typical tricks/ cheats), but rose above his petty need for a weapon, becoming the most useful Maximal on the entire team, argueably through out the entire Beast Era
Next, he defined Dinobot's character, flushing it out. If they hadn't been arguing the entirety of Beast Wars, Dinobot would've probably been a flat character that was hard to believe, & would've never been HoF material. Their arguing made both believable.
He also has a really impressive, logical skill set, w/o an actual "power". All of his skills go together: He's a spybot
Infiltration
Lockpicking
Stealth
Computer Hacking
Hand to hand, melee & projectile combat, as well as explosives (which he'd switch between midfight at times)
Demolishions Expert, so he coud break in undetected, snoop around, & leave a flaming crater when he's done
He had weapons hidden on him, from his Demolishions Charges to an Infiltration kit
He could've taught Bay a few things
& Demolishions lent itself to mining, too...
Survival Skills
He wasn't a coward, he just didn't want to die
& he had Leadership skills, even though he despised authority, if he had to, he could BE the authority effectively... Even getting Dinobot to listen...
and the flexibility to pull it all off believeably.
the only thing keeping him from being a Ninja was he didn't care for discipline, which only made him MORE believable
though he added comic relief, he wasn't a joke character; he was just pessamistic & a realist

"That was positive... I could've said tortured & then vaped!"
Do you know how many parts of Waspinator I have?
& to top it all off, he started most of the Slang the TFs, & much of this board use, slagit! He's probably added more in this area than anyone else on this list has added in general...
(Man, getting all those sublists encoded right was tricky!)

Come on people, Vote Rattrap! I seriously doubt you could make a, honest, list this long (litterally a FULL SCREEN) for ANY of the other characters in this poll!

Rattrap has contributed more & has a better defined character than ANYONE on the list!
