Just wanted to mention that posting in dead threads is against the
rules. You posted in 'Them funny Robots' which was posted back
in 2005, and hasn't had a comment since. They call this: A ZOMBIE thread.
A dead thread in which someone posts to bring it up to the first page.
Again, this is against the rules. :D PLease refrain from doing it again.

Nope, sorry. Might not be able to for a couple of weeks. This week is crazy busy and next week I'm on holiday. I need a more boring life. LOL!

thanks man. I couldn't have done it without Lobo's help, though. I came up with the concept, and the digibash, bio, and the parts, he did the re-shelling and such. :)

Oh nothing much just messing around with my Universe Ironhide

It's actually pretty simple. It was all done in GIMP, so you'd need to know a little about that software program.

First of all I took a photo of the background.

Then I took three photos of Mirage, one as a bot, one halfway and one as a car

Then I cut each of the Mirage photos out and pasted them into the background photo, each as a seperate layer in GIMP.

Then I made each mirage a bit see through by altering each layer's opacity (it's a slider bar on the layer control-the less opaque the more see through the layer is.

Then I used a zoom blur on the background.

And that was pretty much it. (Oh, I did the eyes and scourchmarks on the Mirage pictures before I cut and pasted them as well.)
