I don't know off-hand, but I wouldn't be surprised.. it's not much of a reach from standard panel-lining, afterall. Having said that, I don't see how using any idea is stealing anyone's thunder, simpy state that you don't know of anyone having done such before, and if you're mistaken, please speak up.

I should say by "remind", I mean that it's the first thing that comes to mind at a glance.
With a closer inspection, it really looks like it's still alive, especially when looking at the face.

I don't foresee myself using that particular method in a custom of mine (I rarely make "battle damaged" customs), but my post denotes that I see the practical use in it.
