And I was working on the comic when the TF3 Carly news broke. I was all like "FUU-...! I need to get this done before I seem like a copycat, more than I usually do!"

Well, for art coming from a guy who doesn't draw humans all that much I think it turned out pretty good. If you give her another shot, I might try something different if I were you. You're dead-on about her being a teenager and have the proportions right-on. I would make her torso a bit shorter to better match her legs (kudos for not giving her ten-feet-long Anime legs too). I see what you're saying about the pic being stilted and off-balance and I think I know why. Usually with female anatomy the hips should be about the same width as their shoulders (hence the term "hourglass shape"). If your girl/lady drawing is standing straight, you should be able to draw a vertical line down the side and it should touch both her shoulder and hip. Once I figured that out, drawing women was a lot easier.
