why? it looks good from what i've seen and heard. i guess with me i'm hyped. although, to be honest, some of the elements could be better. not really entirely sold on Soundwave. i love the Transformers Prime version Soundwave. but if this Soundwave's vocoder voice is back, this Bumblebee Soundwave would still be better than the DoTM Soundwave. but i think i'm hopeful.
Still to boxy mess Optimus Prime doesn’t blink and the moving battle mask heck no cybertron is fine but the hexagon is better which realistic then a game one
i was hyped with the first 2007 movie, RoTF and DoTM. but the story after DoTM had just become convoluted at that point and when AoE and TLK came in, i felt it was more of the same, although i thought TLK was good & was actually better than RoTF. it's my 2nd favorite bayformers movie.
Optimus doesn't blink?? i guess i'll see that in a couple of weeks when i go watch the movie. i just kind of assumed it'd still follow some of bayverse aesthetics, including eyes blinking. actually, Bee blinks. but, we'll find out. i'm going to try to write a review after i see it.
well, that's true. but by TLK, bay had checked in. keep in mind, bay had five movies under his belt. his impact can't be minimized & he would still be the father of the Transformers live-action franchise. but at this point, it's a good move for another able director to take the helm & pour his creativity & imagination into it.
from what i've heard & seen, Bumblebee movie will have a healthy dose of action in it. & even creative uses of action. even in the trailer you could see it. the part where Blitzwing grabs Bee by hise neck as he flew & drags him on the ground.
me, i'd be massively content w/ the decepticons at least the decepticons having personalities & interacting, and can put up a competent fight. that was severely lacking in the bay movies.
i saw it. i agree with all of it. i still think michael bay is the father of the Transformers live-action franchise & the 2007 movie is still one of the best. bay made it possible for the Transformers to be seen in the big screen when no one else wanted to touch it. for that, i'll be grateful to him.
Oh. I didn’t see this thread. I just don’t pay attention to any hate geared to anyone. Best to ignore. All I know is my thoughts. And I think bay still deserves respect for what he has done since 2007. He may have flaws, but it was what it was. Heck I own his five transformers movies.
Yep. That was the same scene from the first trailer where the Air Force escorts him. So now we know that’s part of the scene where godzilla rushes towards Ghidorah
Yeah. I remember the hype around that. I believe it was directed by Ronald emmerich, one of the directors of Independence Day. So coming off the success of that, godzilla 98 was pretty hyped but ultimately a lot of people didn’t like it. It strayed from the originals specially the design. Never got a sequel.
