Prime Arcee simply was a hypocritical mess the very show seemed to treat like she was being treated cruely with the death of her partners, to the point the other characters seemingly forgot Cliffjumper ever existed in comparison. This is her SOLE defining trait to the point it makes her more a threat to her own side than the Decepticons.

So, ultimately, Flay was a terrible person and unlikable but she made an attempt at character development. Arcee was a terrible person and unlikable and seemingly was rewarded for not learning from her mistakes.

Ultimately, both of them got some mixed receptions among the fanbase; Some either think that they're both Jerkass Woobies who has justified reasons to be the way they are or a selfish asshole too wrapped up in her own problems to empathize with anyone else and her later actions were too little too late;

For better or worse, there's certainly quite a bit that can be discussed with both Flay and Prime Arcee.

Its just like Prime Megatron - every time they try to make him look good, it just makes it clear what a colossal dunce he was.

My sister wouldn't stop playing with hers to the point the parentals had to institute a limit to when the batteries would be in it on a daily basis. When she finally outgrew that laughing demon, I think the whole family breathed a sigh of relief.

But my bigger problem is that Hasbro keeps pushing her bland design (she's a female Thrust in makeup, right down to a similar color scheme!) and an Autobot flyer shouldn't be in the beginning core group because flying is supposed to be a Decepticon advantage.
