I'd recommend that your photos be between 450-500 Kb, or else you may have a very slow load time, or your images may not load at all. Also, make sure you use a photo hosting site (such as Photobucket) for your images, if you don't upload all of your images as attachments. I exclusively use the attachment option, as I think it's easier and it puts everything on our server here.
