Sadly, the blast shield panels are only meant to blast apart when the trigger is pressed when fitted onto the forearms. They don't do anything else other than that and pegging over his shoulders for robot mode. The guy's big enough though that just swinging one arm in front of a Deluxe figure would still provide more than sufficient protection...just not as seen in the show.

 

Considering most sealed version go for upwards of $50 yes it's a good price.

 

What wave of Generations or When are Waspinator and Rhinox going to be released?

 

Waspinator isn't til January unfortunately.   Didn't pay much attention to Rhinox, but I think he's the same month or maybe later.

Too long a wait if I have to say. Just hope Hasbro actually has it on their site. Distribution seems to be rather cruddy or inconsistent lately for stores near me.
