I simple image search for TF4 brought up a pic of the old blue chevy pickup of Whalberg's character. I decided to see if I could spot an autobot logo but instead I found this bumper sticker. I googled it but got no results. Wonder if it is part of the movie....

 

I've never heard of the firm, but if I had to guess I would say maybe it's a reference to Chuck Yeager, experimental test pilot for the Air Force and NASA, aerospace researcher, and who has acted in various advisory roles.

It could be a real firm, but if it is, I'm afraid I'm not familiar with it.

All I could think of was Jaeger. Probably has no connection to that, though.

 

As Aernaroth said Yeager could be an homage to Chuck Yeager, famous test pilot. Considering Michael Bay loves using Aerospace themes for the movies, I wouldn't be surprised if Yeager R&D had something to do with flying or space in TF4. It could also be that Yeager R&D has nothing to do in the movie and is just a name drop to give some honor to ChucK Yeager.

 

Maybe Mark will be working for that firm, and be an MIT graduate. Who is also buff. He'll use his natural Massachussetts accent. "That's not a cah, that's an alien robot."

 

From what I hear, and if rumors on the net are correct Yeager research and development is a firm that Mark's character starts up himself. He is a mechanic by trade but is a self motivated want to be research and development guy "he thinks he's an inventor" lol. Anyway, he stumbles onto something and well he and his family are thrust into the shit storm as KSI the Bots and Cons all want whatever he found. At least that's the rumor on the net right? Right!?
