on an unrelated note, I got my nephew to DL the game but apparently it doesn't force you into the tutorial at the start? I read a ways back the tutorial had changed but I am not sure how.

He said it had him pick his leaders at the beginning and now he is in Russia but he doesn't see where to put in my invite code. When he goes to the option for "more" from the homepage the 'Invite" option is not there. Any ideas on where he needs to go or if the tutorial has been moved into Russia?

 

Check the Info Tab? iOS devices have been missing the Invite option for a while. Silly folks at Mobage don't seem to want to give it to us. Usually there is an Info about Invites though.

 

There's a group of guys in the demote range with like 400k points. I think the rest of us are in a holding pattern to see if any of them makes a serious run... which I'm sure they will. Except that drunk guy. Go home, guy, you're drunk.

Running low on ammo, so I thought I'd drop a dollar or two on picking some up. Bought 1 restock and 1 3 pack of defibrillators, both of which were supposed to come with ammoX16 each, but my ammo count has not risen at all. Ready to email mobage, but was wondering if anyone else has had issues or knows anything about this.

 

I don't think the shop as changed much since I last looked so where did it say that those were supposed to come with ammo? You sure you weren't looking at the [ammo box icon x X] where X is the current number you have of whatever item you're buying?

Edit: The only ammo you can buy from the shop is those restocks, not the individual clips.

 

If you go into the shop and look under the item description for each item, their is a reload icon and a number listed for which to tell you how many you can get with the transaction. Most like rations and stun grenades come with zero, but defibrillators and restocks should come with 16, and the number appears to increase with each purchase. After my purchase, the defibrillators show x19 and restocks have bumped up to 17.

EDIT: Nevermind, yes, it looks like that is actually the current number I have...my mistake. The reload icon is quite misleading however.

 

Yeah, it's misleading. That threw me off early on when I once thought I could get 30 3-packs of defibrillators for 100 coins...

 

Actually, my embarrassing mistake worked out in my favor. I had already emailed mobage about the "mistake" before you clarified this. Just got a response and 32 reloads were credited in my surplus! This will really help out on the last few hours of the drive.

Well as soon as you start stressing you start to not like the game. Just use this as a learning tool for next time. Don't push hard so fast. Build up your cards so it's easier, and pick your battles better.

Well like I've told other people, maybe just pick the lowest point battles to get up passed the hard areas like 6-12 seem to be tuff. Then you can coast thru 14-30. You'll gain more points in the long run that way. And definitely think about this next time, before spendin money on rations or ammo, maybe get some packs and see what else you can assemble. I always gpnafter guys usin passed events elite cards... Easy pickings outside of there own elite event.

 

Maybe you're coasting through 14-30 because you don't have to face yourself at 22/23 every single time like I do?  

 

Well with every ones help with suggestions and help I have finally made it to the mystical Level 21 streak to easy street to 30.

After tons of pain and trial and error the bottom line is if you cant make it to 21 you have or more of the following things that need improvement.

1. Troops are just not strong enough yet.
2. Dont have a large enough PVP event boost. 20%, 30% and 40% is where you can really do some serious damage.
3. Formation can make and break you.
4. Run a cobra Deck. So many Cobra power house decks and limited really good Joe teams. If you take a look at the top 30 80% of them are running Cobra.

 

Tryptonite doesnt respond to PMs anymore.

Mobage support is terrible and have asked me to explain the bug that is locking me out of the mission three times. I have, very detailed and with multiple screen shots.

No its not that.

I cant resume a mission period (error message) because somehow my leader card got bugged and swapped out

According to the upgrade screen I have 10 normal cards active..No leaders.

The game bugs the hell out and has no idea what to do if you dont have a leader card active.

And no way to retreat or to swap characters in and out of an active squad so WHEEEEEEE

 

To be fair, Tryptonite hasn't even logged in since the morning of the 26th, and in game he was in my group two days ago and demoted because he didn't play at all. He's either busy with real life issues or knee deep in work, which for us and this game should be a good thing.

 

Speaking of Duke I have only gotten 1x 2* Duke and Roadblock since the very beginning and have never gotten them again, it's very frustrating cause they are very good cards and I really need Duke the Tank XD I have been getting a bit of SE, mild consolation...

 

Funny, I was playing for weeks and weeks before getting a single Snake Eyes, yet I was swimming in Roadblocks.
