This will probably be my last TFC product too. I love the figures, but it seems that TFC didn't really improve on their quality. And the colors on them...yeesh! Their Ares figures look nice and very tempting, but just from observations, TFC is going to mess up the paint scheme somehow.

 

lol. this might be my last tfc combiner as well. they are a nice set, but like you said, they don't seem to be going in the right direction. well see what they have in store after ares. im not going for that one. its mmc all the way.

ill be stoked when I get my last two arielbots from tfsource though. that will be a big day.

 

I said it pages ago, but since this is trending now, I'll also admit to this being my last TFC purchase. To be honest, if there was another Not-Superion option on the market at the same time as Uranos, I wouldn't have gone with TFC. Since I'm locked in on MMC's FR I have no need or desire for Ares. Even if no one else tackles Defensor, however, I still won't be picking up TFC's. Maybe Warbot Ron's mystery company will make him eventually  

 

Skipping ares too. Will see what they have improved before I decide if I want defensor from tfc.

 

Can you link me to the how to on that rubber washer fix? Didn't even know we could fix the flimsy combined mode!

 

Ditto , other then the same complains, im personally quite fed up with the 4-5 month delay of the last two limb bots even though they are largely of the same mould. That just takes the gratification of the initial investment and high on the project..:/

 

I believe Blueben placed some pictures earlier in this thread on how to put in the eraser pieces into BB's legs. I used a washer as it is studier and likely to last a bit longer.

I bought them at Bunnings warehouse, an assorted pack for around $5. Coincidently, I need them to fix some leaks in the taps so I had to buy them anyway, not to fix a stupid toy

I have change to those ABS gundam left overs on joints. Seems to last till now. Just make sure you don't over compress the springs.

 

My harrier is still on its way from Hong Kong....:/ Everyone's elses Uranos seem to be completed and sitted on their shelves already....I just refuse to pay Robot Kingdom prices for TFC products...

 

But Robo has the best prices... where are you ordering from if not them?

 

Oh God Nonononono RK do not have the best prices. They prob singlehandledly inflate all of TFC prices. Chk out Taobao . Multiple sellers of TFC products in mainland ...all at 3/4 the price of RK. So even if I were to slap a delivery charge to my sunny island country, its still cheaper than RK without delivery charges considered!!!

I recently met a source who gave me discounted pricing at ishop2go. So that's where im ordering my TFC toys. Again, cheaper than RK.

 

Just finalized payment on the last 2 limbs and I'm on the boat of not thinking I'm getting anything from TFC ever again. The bots are good to alright in all modes but for around 90 a pop I expect something a bit better then good-alright. With 4 limbs almost the exact same it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I'm also really not a fan of the upgrade kit. By making that it's like they are saying we know you guys wanted this all along but we are going to make you fork out more money after the project is done. Hell if they didn't make that dinky little chest bot silverbolt could have been cheaper/had more budget put into making him better all around.

 

Ditto...my journey with TFC ends at Uranos...Some other company who puts in so much more time and respect for their customers will be getting my money...

 

So i get the other arm saturday, and will get the leg about a week after that. Gah, stupid paycheck, bein all low from the trip to Canada lol

I haven't combined mine yet, so I have no idea if there will be a problem, but I'd like to see how to fix it just in case.

 

So it seems a lot of people aren't happy with this set? So how much would you guys pay for the whole set after everything comes out? IE Herc goes for less then 500 shipped?

 

Just ordered my last two bots from TFS, cant wait to get them. I was holding out for some reason but caved today. Now just have to wait for wings of uranos.

 

My uranos doesn't seem to have any problems.. Is this a widespread case? Or an unfortunate few? However, I do need to get around to fixing phantoms leg squeak

All I know is the problem has to do with his legs, but as mine are fine, I haven't researched it much further..
