May I ask how this box is shipped? It is just wrapped in paper or does lunar actually have some styrofoam packagaing/protection for the box. thanks

Hwy quick question, if my order says unfulfilled does that just mean it hasn't shipped out yet?

 

I would assume the ones that got the shipping notice should be the ones that preordered on the first wave. So all 2nd wave orders should be unfulfilled because those mp are still heading to linertoys.

 

Opened mine up. Box was dinged pretty good in two corners sadly, but it seems like no one is getting good boxes. Then again, Hasbro handled this release so that explains a lot.

Grimlock is great, but I knew that, having traded my Hasbro version so I could get this set since I wanted the sharper claws. I will say though that this one feels a bit flimsier than my Hasbro version, like mold has degraded a bit... He thighs and knees specifically, and ball joints of the thumbs. It's all still fine tho... Part of me wishes I'd kept the Hasbro version so I could display both modes.

It is silly that we aren't getting the bio cards now that I see it says right on the box that the bio card is part of the contents of the set.

Weirdest thing was that my plastic tray was cracked in the upper right corner. Luckily not so much that Grimlock was moving around in the box, but I guess that's what happens when 60% of the package is just pointless, unused space.

 

Yeah, since I ship figures back to my house in the USA I really didn't want another box this size. The MP08x box was nice and compact. This thing is just like the original. 6 inches of unused space in the bottom. It's like opening a bag of potato chips. It's good inside..but there's a lot of air.

Saw Chimungmung's facebook. Guy asked him if he will carry any Asian Grimlocks. He basically said the price is too high. 340+30 shipping. Said he "gave up."

Getting one at $250 shipped is a steal. Card/dents or not.
They handed out the cards to people at the show, so you should complain to the event organizers haha.

 

Completely un-related, but i realize this form have turn in to a mix of future AE MP release.

The sword and crown on mine seem to have received poor quality control.

Kind of disappointed in that but over its a nice figure.

 

How so?

 

The Red paint on mine is perfect.

 

Swords are notoriously bad. That red metallic paint gets shitty fast. I'm sure there's a way to seal it and protect that but all 3 of my Grimlocks have had edge-wear on the swords.

I heard crowns can be scratched up too. Both of mine are good thankfully.

 

Both pieces on mine are black right where it attached to the mold. Don't care to display him with either

Yeah, it's like a freakin' burn mark. I wouldn't display them because of the clear plastic anyway(I don't like the clear plastic barrels on the twin stunner either..). He pretty much goes without weapons on my shelf.

 

Wow, my box has only one crease in the top flap and that's nothing awful. And the Grimlock copy has only loose thigh swivels. Overall, I guess I'm lucky.

Anyone get a clean/mint box? Out of me and 4 of my friends, we all got dinged boxes in different areas.  

 

My box is mint. But I live in China and didn't ship it overseas yet. Let's see if I can get it to America in this condition
