Some stores have a policy that if it goes on sale you get a refund along it is with 7 to 10 days of your purchase day. I know Target does and I believe Walmart does. Don't know about Toys R Us.

Any one have an MP 10b they want to trade for a MISB Hasbro MP soundwave? MP10b does not need to be MISB but it needs to have the packaging...

 

Target is 14 days to price match, but this is a coupon. Should be no different though.

 

the coupon says right on it "not valid with prior purchases"...maybe it will be up to the managers at the store

 

Just came back from my local TRU, they said they could do a re buy option and use the 15% off but the coupon won't be able to be used with the price match online price of $119.99. I would have to be charged the store cost of $138.99 then 15% off that. So I just kept it the way it was since they gave me 10% off $119.99 because of a minor corner box ding.

 

I saw on Instagram soundwave is 138 and acidstorm is 81 now in stores?

 

Some stores, yes. I won't be surprised if both of them go higher in retail stores.

Side note, I just opened up Acid Storm. Holy shit, this deco is so good. I might need to get Sunstorm from somewhere to complete these seekers.

 

Sigh. Who does the packaging at TRU, a three-year old? the bubble wrap was thrown in after the fact, shipping box is destroyed and Soundwave's box has creases all over it. Oh yeah, i'm taking this shit to twitter and their facebook page.

I could validate this as I just got back from TRU to get $20 back in cash from my online order that was placed on Aug. 2nd.

 

I just got my coupon in my email tonight. In order to get the retroactive 15% back, does it have to be at the same TRU I bought Soundwave at? I'm asking because there is a TRU closer to me than the one I found him at.

 

No. I bought mine online. I just went to toysrus.com to print out the universal 15% off coupon that is good until 8/17 . Then went to my closest TRU with only the receipt (no Soundwave required) and the coupon and ask if they could apply the coupon to my purchase. Easy as that.

 

Since you bought it online, could you just call Toys R Us.com and get a price adjustment that way, instead of driving to toysrus.

 

I suppose you could -- they would probably just ask for the order number, address..etc. and you telling them the coupon code. Let us know how that works out if you try it.

you can still get mp10b for $159 online..and um ...dont know when i said any thing about $200 .....but whatever.... i think its a pretty even trade......its not like im asking for mp 08x or mp 10.....lol but if it was takara soundwave with just lazer beak i suppose that would be amore even trade?.... 

 

My Soundwave just showed up and the box is in beautiful shape. I want to open it to make sure of no funny business but I'm a MIB collector...there seems to be no tape tampering so I'll believe even though I can't see. ;^)
