A matter of choice if you want to win...lets face it there is no chance to make it into the top 100 unless you have farmed a couple thousand cubes from events.

This game is more pay2win than any free to play mmo I've ever played in.

Actually my tier 5 galvatron is all around a better card. Slightly lower on defense, but still better. So if a player has a galvatron and one other t5 decepticon, then the vortex card is pretty worthless in a leader spot.

 

I just crossed as well, thanks to the lvl 8 and 7 tags, MTM my vortex finally lol.

For us, we will just have to play with what we have, and save at least some for the next event.

That is exactly what i have been doing, as a f2p player, there is no way that you can make it to the top 10 in every episode, so now i am farming for it, until the character that i really wanted surfaced, i will go all out, but until then, farm 

 

I am starting to get used to the 4x MVP thingy, make sense that, as a spawner, once i have spend more cubes, i would expect the return is actually worth the cube spending.

I don't have any Decepticon T5's, and Vortex is still not much (if any) of an upgrade. Even with his signature weapon and great defense, his life is so low that he's always the first to die. I got the unlucky stick on my tier purchases, ending up with 2 complete Vortex's and 7 other Vortex alt modes, no swindles, and just a Blast-off alt mode.

 

Update..

To buff the bosses I guess? Before I could get a CJ2 under 50% with two cubes, now no.  

 

WAR DAWN 8/11 Update#2

We have fixed an issue with the event splash screen displaying the incorrect images.

 

I'm on the fence on buying the next bridge to try for Blast Off (B)... I have the alt card and I'm feeling lucky.
I wish Mobage would discount the Tier Bridge AFTER the event ends. What would they lose? I would imagine they would make some extra cash from the suckers (like me) who want to complete the 1/2 cards they pulled from the event.

 

Oh man, Level 8s are timing out already. Now it's no longer worth my cubes to send out a Level 8

looks like TFL has gotten itself into a mexican stand off. I'd be surprised if the queues move at all apart from high tier players sniping low level bosses and people finishing off their own battles.

 

The people won't even bother anymore if i send out bosses below CJ,, after i did the MVP damage. Eventually i have to finish it off myself.
