Considering we've seen a lot of cool vehicles, I'd love to get a few figures.
However, if they're badly designed and if they lack paint apps, I'll pass.

I'll take a look and see.

I hardly picked up any mainline DOTM, but I recently picked up a Sideswipe for a little painting, and it turns out he's a fun little figure. The BB I originally picked up was also pretty good, as is the Takara Jetwing Prime.

Not too keen on the Takara Voyager Optimus Prime with Trailer though, he was a hell of a letdown.

I'm looking forward to seeing them; will never buy up an entire line just to be "completist" but I am sure I'll get at least a few if they're good and I enjoy the film.

I don't get all the DOTM hate either. I've sold them all on now (just because I'm concentrating more on my G1 collection atm), but most of the deluxe figures I picked up I enjoyed: Bumblebee, Thundercracker, Barricade...

The only movie toys I own are Ejector (who doesn't?) and Bludgeon. In general, I dislike the aesthetic even more than that of Animated. And considering how awful the movies themselves have been, what's the point? I actually kind of regret buying all those Armada and Cybertron toys and I at least sort of liked those.

I buy designs I like, simple as that. I had my doubts during ROTF since I hated the movie, but in the end I'm glad I picked up a lot of the toys.

I'm sure I will pick up a few of the TF4 toys if they're good. :)

I didn't get a single figure from DOTM. So, the chances are pretty high I'll be skipping TF4... as those figures are bound to be even more simple looking and even more expensive than before.

But, it's simply impossible to rule out completely anything Transformers related. I just never know until it's right in front of me if I'll want it or not.

Currently I've lost interest in everything but Masterpiece and Encore.

Honestly I think it'd take something like G1 or Animated to get me interested in mainline Transformers again.

I will be skipping all deluxes and so on. My current movie collection has none of them.

What I will be looking for is:
    - More HA figures
    - A proper sized Voyager and above size Megatron.

I bought every DOTM figure but now I look at them and think "Meh, that was a bit of a waste of money".

So for TF4 I'll just get the exceptional ones, hopefully.

For the most part I plan on skipping the TF4 Toyline, namely all of the Bumblebee's and his ever changing paint schemes.Depending on Optimus Prime and the Decepticons I may get some of them if they are cool (especially Optimus with that new look). Finally if and only if Hasbro brings back the Human Alliance line and has Topspin since he got canned last time.I just hope they do him since he was the sweetest looking and others too.

I'll have to see them first. If the quality improves over DotM's line, I can see myself picking up a few. If they're back to RotF standards, I'll buy all of them lol.

But over all, judging by a decent amount of the Prime and BH stuff, I don't think anything is going to improve.

What I really need to avoid is buying all the stuff when it hits clearance, even though I neither want nor have space for it.

Haven't kept a movie toy yet, so I'm not going to start now.

I'm definitely not skipping the toy line. I've been a big fan of the movie toys and have enjoyed the first 3 toy lines. I'll probably stick to on-screen characters this time around to avoid getting burnt out like I did during DOTM.

Fully skip it. Never cared for movie toys. Only movie toys I have are a golden Legends Bumblebee and a blue Soundwave, because they came with the orange Rodimus.

Might pick up an Optimus or any large figures that blow me away. If there's something along the lines of Buster Prime and Striker Prime, I'd probably bite on that. Otherwise, nah movie figures do very little for me.

I always say I'm going to skip a line, and then I find a bunch of them in FiveBelow or a simular liquidator and buy them up.
Yeah, I'm lookin' at you MechTech Air Raid.

With the exception of a handful of Reveal the Shield figures, I have sold off all of my movie stuff. I have never been a huge fan of Transformers that turn into modern day cars or the bay insect like bots. In general for this fan, the more sci-fi the alt mode, the better. I expect to pick up a handful of molds but will be skipping things unless it's mind blowing. Not to mention the space issues.

If a figure is good I will buy it, regardless of the line.

Movie lines have had some very nice gems, and plenty of good figures. I will likely continue to invest.

I'll definitely pick up a few TF4 movie toys. In my opinion, there are some damn fine movie toys out there (ROTF Leader Starscream being my favorite) and I'm sure that TF4 will produce a few keepers as well.
