Both look even worse in the interiors. In the IDW verse the story is totally skipable too. The sad thing? The story is relevant. But you can still skip it and not be confused

Have you guys heard or seen anything on FansProject Retro-Future line or Function-X CODE Virus version??? I haven't seen jack about them on the front page. Peaugh's videos point you to fansprojectcore. I tried to sign-up, but I don't get the confirmation e-mail. And yes, I check my junk mail box. Tried e-mailing them, but no response. I wounder why these releases are kept in the dark? And we still haven't heard anything on a second steelcore release, right? I might just break down and buy one on ebay after christmas.

Looks like fanfic art, not professional work to me. You can mess with proportions and such, but even in messing with them, they need to make visual sense. This is just sloppy design. Makes me wonder what this person's non-TF work must look like. This will date me, but I absolutely love everything Geoff Senior did back in the G1 run. Also loved Derek Yaniger's stint on the G2 comics. I really dig the angular, boxy style of both. It just screams "ROBOTS!" to me. Hubby got us the Starscream and Ironhide Construct Bot thingies a few days ago. They aren't bad, actually. Not sure if they're worth the price you pay for them but they're kind of fun. Target on 528 has Wheeljack, Soundwave and the Prime and Megatron set. We may break down and get Soundwave since we're still riding the high of getting the MP a few days ago.
I bet if I was motivated, I could fix that illustration by resizing the parts and moving them around a bit. Each PART looks good on its own. I keep all my discarded toy parts, I've amassed a pretty sizable junkyard. Even then, I still end up buying a lot of figures on eBay. It's an expensive hobby if you're not willing to compromise on specific parts or paint. Oh yeah. I got my Metroplex! He is way too fucking big!
someone should lug a metroplex or two to the meetup, see if they combine in base mode or something, might work as a TF table even!.
You say that, but do you have one yet? The more I look at him, the more the aesthetic grows on me. It would be cool to link our Metroplexes together into a super city, but taking him anywhere would be a huge hassle.
I think it would be hilarious if everyone just showed up with a Metroplex and we all tried to combine them.
Ill have mine tomorrow. I've seen one in person though, and I'm super excited. Need to buy Amazon Omega Supreme soon to go with him.

Seeing one is a lot different than having him in your home. He's like a piece of furniture. I don't know if I'm going to put stickers on mine, but I think I'll give him a dark wash and maybe some energon lines. His sculpting is deep enough that he doesn't look really plain. I'm inclined to work on his alt modes, but I'll see what other customizers come up with first.
Hey I went to try east before work. As of 11;50 there were 2 acid storms. Finally pay day but I was hoping for sound wave. I do want acid storm but passed for now. Still no sound wave for ACS :-(
