Listening to him speak those lines, I am a kid again.

 

I hope NONE of those lines are actually in the movie, they are cheesy as all hell. I also hope the TFs in the film have some "robotic" effects on their voices.

  He sounded like such a poser there!

 

This is why I love Peter Cullen's acting abilities.  

 

That "Thin Line.." quote sounds like Prime's pulling a Shatner.

Aged or not, Cullen's lines just don't have that kick they did 20 years ago. He still sounds like Prime without a doubt, but he just doesn't seem to be putting in the effort.

 

Whee, Most excellent. But can you imagine if the current prime said them?

 

Hey guys, I editied all the clips a little bit to sound more like the show. This was recorded flat with none of the sss's taken out, no reverb and no modulation. Lemme know if anyone wants the file. It's less than one meg in mp3 form. Or if the mods would like it, I can post it here.

Oh please no. This is one of the things that has irritated me about Energon and Cybertron. Everyone sounds like they're talking out of a tin can.

I was Stoked to hear The mighty PRIME once again (yes I said Stoked) I'm bringing it bacK....   anyway how cool would it be, even if it would not actually be in the Movie,to hear Prime say "these Pretzels...... are making me thirsty" I love prime and TF'S

And as I am a die hard G-1 fan! I am open right now for Bay & Co. cause it's easy to trash a movie we have not seen and just as easy to be completely WRONG! yes I am aware of the "robots" shall I say and I also am critical of the same ones as others on here-but as far as personality in the new Heroes & foes , we have
Nothing to go by in that respect...
maybe,just maybe, "we" (the doubters) will be wrong...

Hearing those lines spoken by Mr. Cullen made me feel 10 years old again. I honestly couldn't stop grinning for a good long while. Though, some of the lines were just...dumb, to say the least, there were a few that stood out a lot.

My personal favorite was the line "This world should learn from its own mistakes, not ours." It just seemed like such a 'Prime' thing to say. Plus, even if Mr. Cullen's voice sounds aged, that seems to help with the impact of certain lines, especially the last two.

Can't wait for more. ^^

I gotta admit, I kinda wanted to hear that too, if only for the novelty. I sure wouldn't want it to be part of the film, but as a silly sound file on the net, it's gold. As good or better than Scott McNeill talking about Dinobot's rigid grill structure, anyway.  

 

Heard the lines and dang, well done to Cullen!

Interesting hearing some of those old favourite lines in Peter's current voice vs him 20 yrs ago, but i think the 20 yr gap really helped to 'age' his voice to give him a more distinct wise sounding type of character. So overall i approve!

Also did anyone get a weird random vibe of some of his lines making him sound like Lance Henrikson ?

 

is it just me or does the bottom half sound more like Eyore then Optimus? other then that, it's ok, but i guess it fits the "emo prime" people are claiming him to be in this movie. oh well all greatly delivered, except prime time, i think that was poorly done, it's almost like he miss-interupted the punch word.

 

The last line was my fav but the way he delivered "One shall stand... one shall fall."-- wow. The "fall" part was totally channeling Megatron.

 

Thats cool, last line was awesome... sent shivers down my spine

 

My favorite is "It's Prime time".
